Hi Jay,

Congratulations! Very exciting.

I felt the same way my first pregnancy. I remember feeling like I had been pregnant for years and couldn't wait to hold my baby in my arms.

I look forwward to hearing more about your pregnancy and all the fun stuff you have bought for baby so far.

Hi Jay,

I also have a thyroid condition. It was one of the reasons that I was having a hard time carring a baby to term. Once it was under control my pregnancy did well. Make sure your doctor knows about the condition and it should be monitored.

Easier said then done, but try not to focus on weight. Instead, try to focus on health. Eat healthy, think of it as feul for your body that is doing this amazing work growing a baby:)

I had my last child over the age of 40 and gained 70 pounds. It isn't coming off as easy as it did when I had my first child at age 36....not even close!

Good news is that with time and persistance, it will come off. I feel better about myself now than I have in my whole life and you will to, it's all in the attitude.

I could go on forever!

Look forward to chatting with you again :)

thanks tammy yes the doctor is working on it now he had to increase my dosage they been trying toget it under control for almost a year now before i got pegnant i had lost 30 lbs that i had gained from the thyroid because of my weight gain out  of no where they tested me and thats how they found out my condition working on losing the weight after the baby shouldnt be hard since ive been down that road what im trying to focus on now is trying not to go oer the 30 lb limit which is so hard right cause as hard as  i try to keep it 1/2 lb a week it always ends up being more
