The best spoon to use for the first baby food feedings are the Take & Toss spoons by The First Years. My son had his first feeding about a week ago, he is 6months. And these spoons are colorful and easy to use....plust they are recyclable!! Yes!!!!!!

I love my Ameada purely yours ultra breast pump. I pump several times a day and love being able to adjust the speed and suction while pumping. For bottles we enjoy the playtex drop ins...made the transition from breast to bottle a breeze

I breast fed my son for 13 months and currently breast feeding my 5 month old daughter and I can't imagine doing it without my Boppy nursing pillow. Hubby bought it for me when our son was born and it was the best gift! This time around I'm also loving Target's nursing tanks--they were great in the summer for staying cool and great now in the winter for layering and staying warm while nursing.  I'm also really liking our new Fisher Price Space-Saver High Chair and Booster in Mocha Butterfly design. Seat is cushy, and I love the girly design for my daughter.  Plus it is nice to have her at the table with us at her own seat instead of taking up extra space with a separate high chair.

The best nursing essential is Modest Middles Nursing Tank Tops. They are actually undershirts with a deep U-shape cut out of the top so that they fall below the bra line. I can wear the nursing bra that fits me best and make any shirt in my closet a breastfeeding-friendly shirt. They let me get into my pre-pregnancy clothes right away and keep my back, tummy and sides covered while I lift my shirt to nurse in public. Best of all, one makes every shirt I own a nursing shirt; it saves me money and helps me keep my style.

I find that Dapple Dishliquid works AMAZING to get out the film left over from breastmilk and the odor from from formula and breastmilk from the baby bottles!! We've been using our bottles for 4 months and the stuff really works better than regular dishwashing liquid. A little drop goes a long way into a bottle, so no need to glob it on.

Our Nap Nanny has also been great as far as feeding solids for our baby and for grandpa, it's been great for feeding regular bottles as he has difficulty cradling baby in his arms.

I always lay a folded up cloth diaper under the baby's chin to catch dribbles while nursing. For awhile, I even covered her face with it because she would unexpectedly let go and milk would spray everywhere!  Good thing they are inexpensive and come in a big pack - I soaked through them really fast.

No breastfeeding mom should be without a Boppy Nursing Pillow!  They are the best!  When I went back to work my daughter loved, and still loves, Tommee Tippee bottles.  These bottles are great for going back and forth between nursing and bottle feeding.
