Hey, This is my 3rd baby, but one thing is different. We didn't try for this one. Unfortunatly it means I have had things done a pregnant women should not, I had a varicella vaccine, 2 x-rays with my youngest son when he had pneumonia only a few weeks ago and untill a week ago when I found out I was pregnant a nice glass of wine every night. Can anyone give me words of confidence or tell me you know someone who did similar and all was ok? My Dr isn't too worried about the x-rays as I wore a lead apron. Oh I'm also a student studying to be a physical therapy assistant and had healthy doses of e-stim and ultrasound!

i also consumed a few drinks with each of my pregnancies before i found out i was "with child". My doctor has always told me that as long as you stop it (whatever could harm the baby) when you find out you are pregnant everything should be fine. Your dr should be able to tell you if the vaccine was safe or not. Hope that helps.

I wouldn't worry about any of that. A glass of wine a night wouldn'r have hurt anything and the c-pox vacc is a good thing as long as it was made with dead virus.

I believe the vaccine was a small amount of live virus and I am been sent to a specialist for further tests. my dr said same thing about the drinks and not worried about x-rays as I wore lead aprons, but like any mom I want my baby to have the best start in life. Thank you for the encouragement!
