My daughter's father and I divorced. My daughter is... (not gonna lie) a holy terror when she comes back from her dads house. He and I don't have the same parenting ideas so she gets away with murder when she is with him. She's an only child at his house and due to my recent marriage, she has 4 siblings and 1 one the way at my house. She can't get away with as much with me and I think she doesn't see it as fair. So far, I have dealt with it head on. I tell her she can't act that way and after a day or so back home she does fine and gets back into our routine but it's always hard that first 24-48 hours after she comes back from his house. That's what I'm hoping for too. She's gotten better in the last year. My ex and I have joint custody so he gets to see her everyday. Not my first choice but I didn't want to keep her away from him. I'm just hoping she gets better as she gets older.

I'm sure. The state I live in requires mediation for custody so I didn't have the option for full custody. I  tried like crazy. I hope it gets better for you soon!
