My son (born 02-08) is the same way. Sleeps like a champ at night but during the day, he feels like he HAS to be held all the time. I bought a "Bright Stars" bounce seat. It bounces on its own and has these support things on his sides so he feels like he is being held. It also plays music and nature sounds. This thing is amazing!!! Way better than the virbrating ones out there. I hope this helps. The bouncer has been my only relief other than at night when daddy gets home.
