Gina: Hopefully next Monday ^_^ I cannot wait. All these symptoms have to be for something magnificent. Also I have to say I love how identical our daughters names are, yours being Lily Ann and my Lily AnnMarie :) Great minds think alike as they say, same goes for naming their children ^_^

Tara - Hoping you get that BFP!  The ball kept rolling, and it's rolling your way now, so be happy!  AF is going to stay away this time!

Nicole - Hm, putting the ginger in the tea is a good idea. It's so good to hear that this is normal.  We were starting to think that maybe I was pregnant, and that's not good if you didn't know. I'd rather get a positive test in two weeks than find out I'm four weeks pregnant.  Yay!  I knew you had twins.  Hm, it is higher risk if they're identical, but hopefully you will be fine.  You definitely deserve it.  What's HB?  Wonder what happened to the second one implanted, but as long as you've got two in there, it's all good.  Three is a bit much, even though it'd be nice, too. :)

Gina - What a great way to end off the year!  Hope it goes well for you. :)  Nice picture!

Amber - Glad your old doctor will help you get the ball rolling.  It's no fun to have to get a new one, but I can see why your doc would want to quit obstetrics...  Glad the zofran is working.  Try ginger and cumin, like I wrote to Christine; it's healthier. The cravings are probably psychological, at least at this point, but potatoes aren't bad, so you may as well eat them.

Suzanne - Hm, interesting.  Could be a sign, could be the weather. ;)  If your left nostril bleeds, raise your right hand for a minute and vice versa.  Works every time.

Christine - Thanks, always good to hear that it's normal. :)  See, I knew you guys would be able to tell me. :)  For the nausea, try crystallized ginger (or candied, or whatever).  Also 1 tblsp of cumin in water (gross, but works).  It's good that you can function again!  Wow, that's a big belly for six weeks pregnant!  You look six months!  Oh, wait, that's because you were a mother prior to getting your BFP. :)  You are ALWAYS crazy busy, girl!  Bed rest would do you good, though hopefully you won't need it.  (Although both you and Nicole might need it if there are twins in there.)

AFM - DH is kind of getting annoyed at the nausea and such.  It seems that anything with cooked tomatoes is a trigger, so we are going to try to avoid those foods.  Which is good, because tomato prices just doubled, since a lot of the crops were ruined, not tended, etc. as a result of the rockets.  So it will save us money. :)  The nausea is supposed to go away after two weeks, but maybe it will take longer since it's folic acid and metformin.  Kind of weirds me out, though, because the folic acid I was taking before didn't have any side effects.  I am curious to see if FF registers ovulation.  If I don't get a BFP in the coming couple months, I will probably go back to the doctor with my charts and see what happens. Poopy.  Just poopy.  I am not sure I want to continue with the metformin if it doesn't work, though.  I started it because I was sick of the shortening-cycle thing, but now I think that might have been stupid and impulsive.

hello ladies!!

Sorry ive been MIA for so long, but we were out of town for turkey day, and i was without a computer for awhile, but i got a new one yesterday :) Trying to get used to it now, the keyboard is smaller but hey.

Layla is doing wonderful, she weighed in at her last doctors appointment at 10 lbs 12.5oz and eating enough to grow another whole person, I swear! She did really well on the trip to orlando and ocala, slept the way there, and was awake the way home. MIL had pictures done of her while we were there in a christmas outfit, talk about adorable! OMG! :) She was spoiled by every great grandparent and grandparent and aunt, uncle, cousin present at thanksgiving! lol.

Her doctor did think she has colic. I think shes just spoiled (he told me to pick her up whenever she cries, because you cant spoil a newborn...I totally do not believe that now! she is SPOILED). She stops crying when you hold her, and loves to explore and see new things (which you have to do constantly with her, which means i accomplish nothing!) so i dont see how that makes her have colic, if she stops crying when you hold her. I swear by gripe water and gas relief drops because man oh man..that girl passes gas so loud, I have to ask DH if its him or her... lol!!

Layla is also smiling when we smile at her :) soooo cute!!!

I went for my 6 week checkup and had crazy heavy bleeding during our out of town trip. Dr. M said everything is great, the bleeding can happen and we discussed birth control options. I ended up getting Mirena put in so I dont have to worry about anymore babies for awhile ;) I wanted paragard orignally but she said that wouldnt be good for me, considering i had endometriosis before and bad cramps and paragard makes cramps worse. sooooo DH and I can BD again but yet we cant..thanks to bleeding lol. :( :( :(

Hope everyone finds themselves well... I am not even going to try and catch up..i'll just start fresh from here :)

Isramom- I would try not to give up on the metformin right away. It's hard when you don't feel good and DHs don't always get that. All the shots I've taken make me feel not so great, too. Hoping that you will see the return on all this with a BFP coming up!

Suzanne- Glad that AF hasn't dropped in!

Brie- Layla sounds like she is doing great! I agree with you it is possible to spoil a newborn, They're so increadibly smart that they know how to pull at your heart strings ;) Hmmm, I'm surprised your doc thought the bleeding was normal. It sounds like it never fully went away since after Layla was born.

AFM- Still playing the waiting game. If AF is coming I think she will follow her pattern of showing up 6 days post my last hcg shot. That would be tomorrow. BB's are still sore off and on. The last few nights I've been dreaming like crazy hope that's actually a sign this time around.

Suzanne: Hopefully she stays away :)

Tara: It didnt.. I was like 5 wks 2 days PP and I had finally quit bleeding but had still brown tinged lochia. It sucked..so much for the "2-3 weeks bleeding pp".. then the heavy bleeding came on thanksgiving and stayed the whole weekend..still going on now, but slowing down some. I am ready to get to BDing again.. lol Im sorry but 6 weeks is TOO long not to have some fun time ;)

Nicole: Yay for maybe twins btw :)
