Brie: Chris was right ;) My Great Aunt is named Mildred actually, but we call her Millie which is much nicer :) When did you start seeing the MFM? 18 weeks for me seems like a long wait to start with Dr. J (?) That's just not right about the hospital asking for a copayment when obviously that was NOT your top priority! And, the misinformation you received :P Isra: Wow, I can imagine how much it costs to ship a set of encycs! I'm glad Shimon is feeling better :) I can see how those oily potato pancakes made you nauseous, but oh they sound good ;) You need to get more healthy things into you though girl! A donut is not a good first meal by means because it has no nutritional value, I know even though they taste so good ;) That darn nausea really messes with your appetite :P I love hot chocolate, but I can see how it would be too sweet. Use saline irrigation much healthier than digging for gold ;) Ok, sounds like you need to get some extra sleep too my dear, here's some ((hugs)) too :) Thanks ♥ I have two little peapods now ;) Simone: I've been Googling the types of twins so I think I'm figuring it out more ;) Oh, your temp went down today (?) Maybe FF was confused with your O date and this is an implantation dip? I hope AF stays away so you can test next week! I guess SS has to go through the process, not missing any steps. You were lucky the power only stayed out briefly! What caused it? Heather: I hope it was just too soon to test, FX'd ;) Suzanne: 1 more day! Did they order your lab draw already? Oh no, you're having a problem with your fiance too?!? What is with these men of ours lately? :P Thank you Gina ♥ Yes, I do, I just can't upload them on the site from my work computer. Promise to do it by this weekend :) I'm glad you're all feeling better and everything is well with the baby :) Tara: You're doing much better than me with the Christmas shopping ;) We have DH's family party next weekend and we have zilch bought for the kids :P We do a Yankee Swap for the adults for his family and mine, any ideas for neutral gifts? We're not allowed scratch tickets or gift cards unless they accompany something to open. Tomorrow you start Clomid!

Nicole: I started at 13 weeks with MFM..thats when they said Layla was looking like a girl! :) they wouldnt confirm it for sure until the 19/20 week one. Then I had another round with them at 23 weeks, and then at 35 when the arrithmyia showed up. :) be back..Layla is screaming again..lol. Shes SOOOOO sleepy but wont go to sleep. what the heck? lol seems to me they'd just go to sleep. Nevermind..she went to sleep just as I was getting up. lol. afm- I have no idea why they did things way different for me than everyone else. Im still hot about it though. We had latching issues in the beginning and I was asking for help from everyone..nurses, lactation nurses, etc. I told them I was interested in getting a pump and instead I was told to rent one. My friend says the same thing and they give her one. WTF. My plan is better than hers, and covers more. Its nuts.

nicole: Candles are always neutral. Some guys dont like them..but some do! How about making up a cookie/brownie/cake mix in a nice decorated jar? with a spoon attached to the ribbon along with the instructions? Other than that..I have a brain fart on neutral gifts..lol. Google can be your friend in this case ;)

Brie: I wonder why I don't have to go till 18 weeks then? But, Dr. A did say that we're doing day by day with this so next week's u/s and prenatal may change things. I remember when they couldn't officially report her as a girl, but still hinted to you ;) That hospital staff is so inconsistent, they should say and do the same things with every patient. Oh didn't see you added to the post. Thanks for the gift ideas :) I know the guys in DH's family wouldn't appreciate the candles very much, but anything to do with food they would welcome ;)

Nicole - Why do they want to wait until 18 weeks? It sounds kind of late to me.. I guess mo/mo is higher risk than mo/di? Yeah, that's why they're still sitting in MIL's storage room. :) I know, I know, but saline irrigation takes so long, and I don't have the patience. Also, if I wake up with an extremely stuffy nose (often), I don't always have energy to reach for the salt water. ;) It would set a good example for Shimon, though, because he doesn't let us stick anything in his nose - not salt water and not a finger - so it's always a fight. Sigh. I am trying to get more healthy food in me, but I have no appetite and most of the foods I normally eat (read: healthy foods) make me nauseous at the thought of them. But, today, I had mint tea with no sugar, and some white cheese (and nothing else). I was not even hungry for most of the day, just nauseous. Hopefully I will be able to eat supper.. Hm, maybe you can go to a dollar store and find good deals for all the kids, in one place? ;) Hm, I guess if they're doing it day-by-day, then it makes more sense. Yeah, I see the two cuties in the pod. I guess even if there are no twin elephants, you can still get twin babies.:) Let's hope their size evens out! :) Brie - There is a window of opportunity getting them to sleep - if they are too tired, it gets difficult. I think you should make a stink and get your money back.

Nicole I hope it is an ID! That would be a wonderful surprise to get a bfp this cycle! But the temp has to be wrong as I didn't get a good nights sleep, Len woke up after 2 and started vomiting. He was so sick and tired that he vomited at 7 this morning in his sleep and stayed asleep while I propped him up to puke in a bucket and even when I wiped him off. I laid him back down and he started snoring. Poor kiddo! Have you come across twinstuff.com yet? They have a forum that helped me out, but the expecting doesn't seem as busy as it was when i was posting there in 2005-2006. I have no idea what caused the power outage, but it didn't just effect my neighborhood it was wide spread at least 2 mile radius. 2 elementary schools and a middle school were effected as well! Ok, what does mfm stand for? BBL Len woke up!

Isra: Yes, day by day. You should get a cool mist humidifier. I have one that you can put a water bottle into and sprays all night on the setting you put it on. Very small, lightweight and easy to clean. We also have one for Aaron, holds a lot more water so it lasts longer. It moistens the mucous membranes so you can easily discard the congestion. That and the Netti Pot, it does take time to do the washes but they're worth it. That's right, let Shimon watch you use it. Aaron gets a kick out of it actually, but I tell him it really helps Mommy :) I know you're not hungry but the nausea is telling you to eat at least a little something. It's the only way mine subsides actually. Try eating small meals throughout the day even though you don't feel hungry it will keep your blood sugar stable and may therefore control the intensity of the nausea. I DO usually get good deals at the discount stores for the kids. It's the Yankee Swap I have such a hard time with. No twin elephants, but I like the peapods and I used one of them in my TTC ticker :) Simone: Yes it would, wonderful anniversary present and for the Holidays :) Oh no, poor Len :( I hope he just woke up temporarily, he needs to sleep this bug away! I'll have to check out that twin site. Do you think it's beneficial to buy a book on having multiples? We have a week to week pregnancy book, but I feel like we need to get something focusing on having more than one. Wow, so it wasn't just a powerline then because that would be more localized to your neighborhood. MFM stands for maternal fetal medicine doctor/specialist or high risk OB.

I have a bit of an update that is starting to discern me. Today we were able to go to get the blood test done. But, trouble ensued. My right arm didn't want to produce blood. So they switched to my dominant left arm, which bled too much but not until AFTER they took out the needle because it didn't seem to want to bleed either. So I got queasy, really queasy, I just about passed out. After a little bit of vomitting and I mean not even enough for a handful, I felt better. They gave us a request form for another place to go to on Monday. But the place said they would give me a free urine test. So I took the test and it said negative. They said that since I didn't show first off the bat with Lily that I may not again. So I'm still getting the blood test done on Monday. So we're not going to trust the urine test and wait till Monday before I tell you yes or no, to put me on the chart as BFP or BFN. Wish me luck ladies.

Ok I finally have a little bit of time... Tara: The bed is comfortable but I find that I can't sleep on it. I can take a nap but not a full nights sleep. The dh is in love with the bed and says that he is really thankful I gave up the downpayment for my car to get the bed. Nicole: I don't have an appt yet...I keep getting sidetracked into forgetting it. I am determined to make it when I get off work in the morning. I just hope they can see me before Christmas. The puppies will eat anything! They really love puzzles and pillow fuzz. Brie: We have gotten so many dog beds that have been destroyed. We have given up on them. We buy them the nylabone toys and they have lasted the longest..they can't chew through them and it's amazing. We just bought them some for Christmas. They shouldn't have asked for a co-payment if your friends are on the same one and they didn't have to pay it. Isra: My cycles used to be the week before the end of the month and lasted 6-7 days. Now they are the begining of the month and 2-3 days. I have always been the same even when I joined the military. I hide the majority of the pain from the dh. I do let him know that my shoulder is bothering me but if I told him it was killing me he wouldn't focus on his work and I don't want him to get hurt on my account. I think he knows that it's getting worse but he is understanding that I don't like to complain that much. Sorry your still nauseas. I hope it goes away soon!! Simone: We got an Ashley Ellis bay foam/gel mattress. I think it is about 12 inches thick. It fluffed up to where I can't even see the footboard anymore! I havea pic of the packaging instructions on how to get it out of the box...that I found after we were done getting it out of the box. The puppies didn't eat any pieces I got there in time! Now it is up on the wall for Christmas! Afm: I have been busy. I have cleaned the apartment, played with the dogs, spent time with the dh and gone to work. I am looking forward to not having to work tomorrow. I am so tired! I got the Christmas decorations up and this weekend the dh and I are putting the tree up. I caved in and let him get a fake tree. He was going to dely getting a real one so I let him have the fake one. I love the smell of the trees the fake ones don't have it. I also have no idea what to get the dh for Christmas. He already got everything I was going to get him. There are only 2 things left that I wanted to get him. I hope you ladies are doing well and I will be on again later I promise! Alix
