Amber- Whatever is going on I hope it clears up soon! Isra- Rooting for you! Hope that BFP comes and not an unwanted visitor! It would be great to get your cycles a little longer; hope that metformin helped! Suzanne- Though you were going today? Nicole- I'm doing good. Hotflashes have already started. Ugggh.

hello ladies! I have a quick question since most of you have done this before How long did you bleed postpartum? did you ever have the change in lochia like they said? (I have yet to have the red to brown/pink, to yellow/white. Mine has been constantly brown/pink..then bright red.) Now going on two months postpartum..and Im finding it rather annoying. I feel totally self conscious of it (and of course, no one knows im still bleeding or sees it but me, but still!) and frankly, its depressing. I have a blood phobia to begin with so this isnt helping. When do I need to be concerned? The doc said I'd have random bleeding spells due to breastfeeding and hormonal changes..as well as thanks to Mirena for awhile..but now im having consistent red blood flow since last wednesday. its not gotten heavier but its not slowed down (and its enough to be filling up tampons). I've tried "taking it easy" but its not helping. Just fustrated and wondering if its happend to any of you?

I am going today Tara. I've been having cramping all day so far. I got slightly nauseous with eating lunch just now. I'm about to leave in half an hour or less. Oh and the tenderness/slight pain in my breasts is pretty consistent but for some reason only for the left one. It's starting to drive me crazy. If I come up negative, I'm going to be flabergasted. With all these symptoms I've been having, it'll be unfair to come up negative. -sigh- well time to get ready to go. Hopefully things work today. I'll be getting my results on Wednesday.

Amber - Good, I am glad you are getting it checked out. Keep us updated! Tara - I guess those hotflashes are a sign that it's working, but it sure doesn't sound comfortable. ((HUGS)) Hopefully you will get that BFP this month! You really deserve it! Thanks, I appreciate that rooting. :) Even greater than longer cycles would be a BFP. Here's hoping. Brie- I had lochia off and on until 2 months postpartum. The doc said that breastfeeding can cause spotting, I guess that's part of the sacrifice to give baby the best out there. It's probably that and the Mirena, though. I don't remember having five or six days of bleeding, it was usually two to four and lightish/medium. VERY annoying though, especially since, because we're religious and count a week from the last bit of bleeding, I kept having to redo the count. Which basically means, I couldn't get through a whole week without brown or red (not sure I had pink). So there you go. I finally made it through a week when DS was two months old (i.e., the week started when he was two months old). From then until we changed the nursing schedule drastically (at 8 months), no period, no spotting, no nothing (no BC, either). If you weren't using Mirena, I'd say to be concerned at ten weeks. (LOL, I just typed your name as Layla. :D)

Suzanne - I didn't see your last post, because I was posting at the same time. Do you know when you O'd? Hm, tenderness only on one side is kind of odd. Hope you get a BFP today. I like your new ticker!

Hello ladies!
Congrats to our first BFP! I have an August baby :)
No time for shout-outs! But my ultrasound and 1st appointment with my OB is Thursday! I am still very dependent on the Zofran and I ran out last night and have been dry heaving and even threw up all day today :(. What makes it worse is that I am at training :(. Getting nervous to see if there are more than 1 in there! Noah is still insistent that there are "two babies" growing in there (despite the face we haven't told them anything) "twin babies". Eeks! It doesn't help that I am so much sicker this time around :(. Le sigh. Hopefully things start improving soon!

Suzanne- Good luck I hope the results come quick! Isra- Yes, not comfortable. KMFC for you! Uggh, all that PP bleeding sounds miserable with having to wait a week after, too! Brie- Hmmm, I may be wrong, but it still sounds like a lot for what you would expect with bleeding/spotting from breastfeeding. It doesn't sounds like it's really slowed down for a while. Especially since it's stayed bright red. I would ask the doctor again if it isn't getting better! AFM- Just got home. It's been a busy day. Now time to relax.

Ok, so today got the test done. The woman I saw today, was awesome! She only took 10 seconds! The other women who did my right arm and bruised it up, took a long behind time trying to stick me. If I'm negative and we have to continue to do the tests periodically, then I will definitely go back to the woman I saw today. She told me to come back to her anytime I need to do this again. Now just to wait for Wednesday to finally get here. Fingers crossed.

Christine - That is really funny that you haven't said a word to Noah, but he still thinks that there are twin babies in your tummy. Maybe he has x-ray vision or kiddie prophecy? It's pretty amazing that he knows you're pregnant, if you haven't told him! Ugh, hope you get that Zofran soon. Or just eat ginger (or cookies). :) Feel better! Tara - It was annoying, but we lived through it. In a way, it's good - we skipped the whole husband/wife post-partum BD'ing issues - who wants, when, why, etc. - because it wasn't really in our control. No guilt, no hurt feelings, no rejection - just a lot of mutual frustration, which is always better than one-sided frustration. :) Yes, you need to relax. Is there anything that can lessen the symptoms for you? I hate that you have to go through this every month. KMFC that this is the last one for you. ((HUGS)) Suzanne - Glad you found someone who knew what she was doing! Hope it comes out positive! AFM - Still playing the waiting game. Cramps are gone (thank G-d), but that makes sense, because this morning I wasn't constipated anymore. Yesterday I was, big time, and kept going every couple hours. So that would explain why it was so awful yesterday. Today is CD29 (according to FF, 7 DPO). Yay! It gets better with every day that passes.
