What is wrong with this world? It makes me so sick to my stomach to imagine being those parents. I can't imagine how they will feel Taking their kids to school again. Makes me so worried about what kind of world I'm bringing a baby into.

Hey ladies! Layla is exactly 2 months old today! WOW. its looking like the bleeding has finally stopped..after 2 months! (no saying it wont start again here soon). Its crazy.. I keep waiting for it to start again!

Christine: I know you're superwoman and all, but did you have irregular bleeding or spottting with mirena at first? Im trying to figure out if its the breast feeding hormones or mirena adjusting.. lol. my postpartum bleeding never really stopped so it is hard to tell.

Nicole: FEEL BETTER SOON!! didnt you get your flu shot missy??

Heather: sorry for your loss hun :(

catch up more later, hopefully... Im in the process of trying to get layla to sleep in her pack n play napper/bassinet, as we start the transition to getting her used to her crib too.. =x  cant wait to actually see her in her own bed. I love having her in our room, since its convienient for the every few hour feedings, but she will only sleep in her bouncy seat, so ill feel better when shes in her own bed

Isra- I was two weeks late almost so I was between 5 and 6 weeks. It was really early but still hard. I felt pregnant and then it was gone :( my doctor said though that my body should recover quickly but I should give myself a couple months before trying again.

Long story short--yes.  I actually bled off and on for about 12-16 weeks after I had my Mirena inserted :(  It wasn't really "bleeding" persay--but it was spotting for many weeks.  I bought super pantyliners and used them instead of a pad!  They were much smaller and just worked better!  Eventually I switched to just plain pantyliners--and then nothing.  But it took a LONG time to stop spotting.   :(  I meant to reply earlier but I totally forgot to when I last posted!

christine: Thank you!! I've been using the little pantyliners, since pads make me break out into rashes..dont ask..i have no explanation. lol! But when it picks up heavy, i use tampons..that way i dont have to feel/see the blood. lol. My doctor told me I could spot and bleed a bit for about 6 weeks UP To a couple of months with mirena. But like i said, I was having gushes and heavy bleeding and spotting still BEFORE mirena, so it was hard to say what is causing it. So far, im going on day 2 with no bleeding :) I was pushing myself too much early on i think and thats what prolonged my lochia too.. its hard to sit and do nothing when you have a baby who thinks shes supposed to be moving all the time! and a husband who works all the time to match. so far, I like the mirena. I had a few mins of cramping when it was inserted..and I've been great since!  I used to have major break through bleeding when on certain pills. like ortho and ortho tri lo. I never had spotting or breakthrough bleeding with yaz or yazmin tho :) But with all the lochia, it was hard to say what was the culprit for all my bleeding now.. postpartum or mirena..or breastfeeding!

ps..i find it funny that people are all "oh my gosh! did you hear about the mirena law suit?! I wouldnt get an IUD." Umm..they had the same commercials for Yaz and Yasmin too.. Im still here and nothing went wrong. I find it funny everytime i switch to a new pill or whatever, it never fails, a lawsuit comes out of it on the tv!

Nicole - You have been working too hard lately!  Hm, you probably should have gotten the flu shot when you found out you were pregnant.  Ugh, impetigo is no fun!  Feel better soon!  Oh, those pictures are really cute!

Amber - You are probably fine, don't worry too much, just enjoy the reprieve. :)

Tara - Hope you got your errands done!  I like your new ticker. :)  Hope you change it soon, though. ;)

Simone - I don't even want to read that article, it sounds awful.  Ugh, I don't want to think about such things...

Brie - Glad it finally stopped!  Hopefully you have seen the last of the lochia, and you can just relax now...  Yes, make the change during naptimes first, and then when Layla is used to sleeping in her bed during the day, put her there are night, too.  Swaddling also helps, you can leave one hand out if you feel she is old enough.  Maybe you can put her crib in your room, if she's more comfortable with that?  There are dangers with whatever you use, but yeah, it's funny that whatever you switch to, you see a lawsuit about.  But, as DH says, "America is sue-happy."

Heather, of course it's hard, no matter how far along you were. ((HUGS)) I was just curious (mostly because I'm wondering if I'm smart to test).  Sorry if I hurt you more.  ((HUGS))  Yes, your body will probably recover fairly quickly, but you will always remember this angel baby.

Christine, how are you feeling?

AFM - Took a HPT tonight (after 3-4 hours of not peeing), and got a BFN.  I also merged my chart with last month's so that I could see how many DPO I would be if this is truly IB.  So, turns out I [might be] 11 DPO (I thought it would've been 12), which means I was stupid and should've tested either in the morning or in a couple of days.  Oh, well.  There is a sale now, 1 for 15 shekel, 2 for 20 shekel.  Not the sale I saw earlier, but it still works. So, I will test in a couple more days, I'm thinking Tuesday or Wednesday, maybe.  But, I sent myself an email with the info for my override and the bleeding, so if it really is AF I can put back the correct info.  Today I didn't even need a pad, lol.  I also see the blood mixed in with clear CM, and I've never had that before, sooo.....  I Googled IB for 5 days, turns out some people had it for 7 days.  We will see...maybe I will go to a walk-in clinic and ask for a blood test. :P  I am really worried, because I've never had this in my life (and so is DH, even though he's laughing at my obsessing).

Heather- No matter how far along you are when that happens it is still a loss and it is okay to feel the way you do. Time will help. I hope that things normalize for you quickly.

Brie- That's good that the bleeding is slowing again. Yeah, all the law suit stuff gets annoying after a while.

Isra- Yeah, I thought I would put that up there and hopefully I can change it soon! I'm sorry about the bfn. That's a bummer. It would be nice if it was simply too early to test. At least you'vr got those appointments coming up where you can ask.

Tara - I am hoping that you can put a new ticker up soon. :)  Hopefully this month's "break" will do the trick.

So, I ended up going online and booking an appointment with the breast surgeon today at 4:50pm.  Yay! So, he didn't find anything, but wants me to go for an u/s to make sure everything is fine.  Grr.  Oh, well.  Then I went to the doc-on-duty, who told me not to complain because AF was too light, and that we only worry if it's heavier than usual.  Yeah, that's why I wanted to stick with the doc I got last time.

But, he thought it could be "bleeding during pregnancy", whatever that translates to in English, and gave me an HCG quantity test.  He also said that if it's negative, there still isn't anything to worry about.  I don't agree, but that's why I liked Dr. G., the one I got last time.  I have never had a period like this before, and from what I've read, it needs to be checked out.  So, now I have a blood test to do.  But, when do I do it?  Tomorrow would be 13 DPO if this wasn't AF...will it come out positive if I'm pregnant, or is it too early?  (Here, <3 negative="">25 = positive.)  I'm not sure I can do it Tuesday, and I have a prescription that I need to fill by Thursday if it's not positive.

I feel like half the posts from the last week are mine. Maybe I'm scaring everyone off?  Or maybe I'm a stalker, even though I haven't checked here since this morning (now it's 7pm)?

My dear ladies, to answer your questions I DID have the flu shot back in September. Both strep and Flu A and B have been ruled out. So, I just have a cruddy bad virus most likely that I caught from Aaron. He's doing much better, being a good boy taking his medicine and the lesions are almost all cleared up :) DH's family party was yesterday and Aaron's school is having a sing-along and meet Santa this afternoon, then the Patriots game is later tonight. So, no rest for the weary here ;) I know, I HAVE been working myself too hard lately, Christmas time especially trying to get everything done for next week, it's coming so fast!

I've been stalling updating you all on Wed's appt. It's been hard to post it.

BabyA was measuring perfectly and their heartrate was great. Unfortunately, BabyB stopped growing most likely just after my 7W u/s on 12/3 when they were measuring 6W. And, we saw no heartbeat. Dr. A said with this type of twins BabyA may still be affected, but she's trying to be optimistic about them continuing to thrive as they have. My 1st prenatal was resched to this Wed 12/19, there is no need for us to be followed by a high risk OB anymore.  I'm having a much harder time with this than I thought I would. My heart is trying to mend from all of this, so happy and trying to be hopeful for our sweet BabyA, but still so sad for our little angel Baby B.

This is all I can say for now...

Love and ((HUGS)) to you all ♥
