Christine: With this being #3, you COULD go earlier ;) I'm glad you're going to the doctor to checked out, you have to make sure you don't have something that requires an antibiotic. Maybe the patches are eczema? Good idea to check those out too especially if they're spreading. I hope you can get in for an appt ASAP! Feel better darlin' ♥

Nicole- Yeah, I have no idea what is up with my temps the last two months. They've been all over the place. I didn't overide O because I wasn't sure although I was feeling that pinching days after the 1st shot. Glad you got to have some alone time with DH! Bummer, you have to work New Year, too!

Christine- It's probably good you are getting that checked out even if it's as benign as dry skin. Yes, it's annoying to have that question asked although I do understand that not everyone knows we've been trying for so long. DH said he thinks it's easier to just say we've been trying for a long time and we're having problems.

Good morning ladies :)

We have snow! Driving in NH is awful because they don't plow the roads, I got stuck on our street and then was swerving all of the highway. But, once I got into MA it was just wet and rainy. Hopefully by the time I leave here things will be clearer in NH.

Tara: I know, it HAS been fluctuating so much in the last couple cycles. But, look at that rise yesterday! Those pinches had to mean something ;) Yes, we had our little date last night :) Yup, New Year's Eve and we don't have anyone scheduled in the OR again (yet) At least NY's Day I'm off.

DH and I went to see Jack Reacher last night, it was a good movie, actually pretty funny in parts :) I really want to see Les Mis, but he doesn't so it may have to be a solo mission like with Twilight ;) I really miss our little guy, can't wait to see him when I pick him up at my parents after work :)

Love and ((HUGS)) to you all ♥

Dani - A birthing center sounds cool (really cool, actually), but make sure they can do emergency procedures on premises, first births - and any births - can be tough and have risks.  Like, if, G-d forbid, there is meconium in the fluid, or placenta previayou might need help fast - and it's not good to give birth in an ambulance.  ;)  So, do your research.  I personally went to a hospital that uses midwives and some natural techniques, and the doctors just make the rounds, checking in on the midwives.  It was great - except that I was stuck on the monitor because they couldn't get an accurate reading.  And, BTW, when I read the medical records, I found out the DS had been born with the cord around his neck once - nobody bothered to tell me, because it didn't matter - but you want to be sure that it won't matter.

Gina - Hope you enjoyed your holiday!

Tara - Glad to hear you're doing better. :)  Hope you continue to relax.  How are the massage referrals going?  Do you have to argue with your insurance?  Meh, don't feel bad about the wine/beer.  It was only half a glass, and you're taking a month to relax, remember?  Plus, there's no research showing that one glass before you knew had a negative effect.  Especially before implantation... ;)  Yeah, those questions can be tough. ((HUGS))  How did you manage?  Your DH is probably right, but it's really difficult to "just say that".  Sigh.  Men...

Nicole - Yeah, and FF changed it back to CD8, so now it's not so clear anymore.  Whatever.  I am wondering if the metformin could be impeding ovulation?  I should have temped for a month or two before starting it, but I was so stressed about my irregular periods and negative OPK's that I didn't think about it.  (DH insists that he mentioned this to me, but really, who cares?)  Bummer that you have to work.  What is OR?  Glad you enjoyed your date!

Christine - Yep, that baby could very well come early.  I assume the u/s confirmed singleton, right?  LOL, I'm Jewish, I just said Merry Christmas to you guys for your holiday. ;)  Here in Israel, all Christian holidays are practically invisible.  There are some people who celebrate, but very few.  Yeah, FF gave me CH's - first CD8, then CD9, then back to CD8, all the while changing the coverline.  But, their analysis makes a lot of sense, so bummer, I guess.  We will see when AF shows (or doesn't, but not likely), right?  Hm, I got weird patches on my hands/arms right after giving birth, it took several months before they started fading.  Eczema, maybe?

AFM - I'm getting kind of depressed, it's really hard for me to work on the computer and make my own schedule.  Shimon is doing fine, thank G-d, feeling better and no more ear infection.  I'm really constipated, and I can't figure out why, because I eat tons of vegetables, and practically no meat.  I had some rice this week (spiced it with paprika, tumeric, dried parsley, and some pepper), but this constipation has been going on for longer than that.  It's also making me pee more often and giving me stomach cramps.  And, I've been nauseous a lot of this week.  If I start throwing up consistently, I'll take an HPT, but other than that, I'm kind of clueless.  Maybe the metformin again?  But, I thought it was supposed to stop making me sick as my body got used to it.  Plus, I have had heartburn for the past two days.  Oh, well.

Sorry I have been so MIA ladies! The hubby and I went and visited both families for the holidays and let me tell you traveling in the car with morning sickness is awful! I am officially 8 weeks and four days today and morning sickness is in full swing. Some days I can keep some foods down and then the next day the same foods make me sick it's so frustrating. I have been reading all the posts and there is so much going on! I will start to respond again after this post, but there is just too much to comment on since I last posted! Hope everyone is doing well!

Nicole- Eww, having to drive in the snow is not fun unless you are seeking it out like when going skiing. I don't like it when it snows at home that much if I have to work or do normal day to day stuff. I hope those pinches were good I just thought they happened so far after the hcg shot. Ooh, I really want to see Les Mis and The Hobbit! I'm pretty sure that DH is not interested in Les Mis either. If you were close I'd go with you ;)

Isra- Hmmm, sounds promising. I forget where you are in this cycle? I've been constipated lately, too. Not fun. I probably need more veggies though. Surprisingly I got 8 more messages that have to last me through 2013. I don't go to the first one I scheduled until the first week of January. I'm really glad that I got ok'd for some more though since my last thing was denied. I just try to pass off those comments like ' oh I don't know, time will tell." I hardly ever drink any alcohol, so I felt really fuilty at the time, but I appreciate you guys telling me it's not that bad ;)

Amber- I hope the MS lets up onyou someand gives you a longer reprive than just a day. I can imagine that the car only makes things worse. Hope everything else is going good for you! I know this holiday season has left me feeling way more busy than normal. Not a lot of down time.

Hello! I have been popping in, but I had no time to reply.

Tara I hope your temps don' flucuate anymore? Are you on progesterone as well? I had a friend who finally was pu on progesterone last year with her 8th IUI that was supposed to be IVF, but her eggs didn't respond very well. Any way she ended up having a baby boy in June.

I hope the rest of us get bfp's in January and can add to the pregnancy talk. How I love talking about symptoms and babies cooking.

Nicole I hope the roads are beter when you head home!

AFM I am so anxious for the 1st to get here. I have been bloated the las couple of days and crampy today.

I almost had to take Ty to the ER yesterday because he couldn' be calmed down and I was afraid for his safety as well as for my other kids. But he finally did calm down after almost 4 hours of throwing things, swearing, hitting, yelling. Today he has been fine.

I also cleaned my house this morning. Yay me! lol I got almost 3 days worth of dishes done, christmas gifs put away, counters cleaned and floor swept.

I don't know what's going on. Both of my ankles are so swollen today. And, I've been getting really strong headaches since yesterday, along with feeling "overheated". Dr. P took my BP earlier and it was fine, low in fact. I was never swollen like this with Aaron until I was way into my 3rd trimester. Dr. P said I should call my OB's office if I still have this tomorrow. I've got my feet up on a stepping stool under my desk, but I can't wait to get home so I can really relax. First things first though, pick up my little guy ;) I really miss him!

Nicole Sorry you have swollen ankles. I googled and came up with these.

Swollen feet and ankles: Often a comment ailment during the first trimester of pregnancy, alleviate swollen feet and ankles by sitting with your feet propped up for 10-15 minutes before resting, wear low heeled or no heeled shoes and try to limit long periods of time spent walking or standing. If problems with swollen feet and ankles continue this should be discussed with your health care provider because they can be symptoms of other serious health problems.

Swelling may be a symptom of high blood pressure or pre- eclampsia so it's important to talk to your doctor or midwife about any swelling.

Simone- That's inspirational. I hope we get lots of BFPs in January, too! Glad Ty calmed down that has got to be pretty scary.  Hope your bloating is for a good reason!

Nicole- Those symptoms bear keeping a good eye on them. It's good your BP is low! Keep us posted on how it goes. Hopefully it's you being too active ;) Keep those feet up!
