Good morning ladies :)

We got more snow last night, it's totally different looking where we live in NH as opposed to here in MA. We're suppposed to be getting more tomorrow into Sun.

I called my OB's office and the nurse was happy that my BP is normal. She said that problems with HBP don't usually arise until late in the 2nd trimester so it is unusual to see this in the 1st. I need to use compression stockings while I'm at work especially and this should help. Other than that drinking lots of water and avoiding too much sodium or MSG. And, I just have to make sure the swelling doesn't move to other parts of my body. Not much can be done with the headaches except Tylenol and it's very common at this time in pregnancy (10-12 weeks) and usually subsides by 14 weeks.

Well, I'll try to be back later to catch up, nice to see the activity again :)

Happy TGIF to you all, Love and ((HUGS)) ♥

Tara: That is crazy that there are so many Mount Vernon's out there! LOL! :)

Nicole: Oh man I hear you on the headaches :(  If its not one thing its a million others.

Simone: That is never fun having to deal with someone who is out of control :(  My younger brother has the capability of rages--which is one of the reasons he has lived in residential treatment/group homes since he was about 10-12 (I believe).  At that point he was getting to strong and to out of control for all parties to be safe.  He has made many many strides in staying under control--and lives in a group home and works in a local center for those with disabilities!  :)

AFM: Went to the dr. yesterday---sinus infection and the spots are just a symptom of pregnancy I guess.  She said to put hydrocortosone cream on them and if they don't go away to follow up with my OB.  I plan on following up with my OB period because it worries me that I am going to be dealing with these the entire pregnancy and just fear that it become something very serious :(  Especially starting this early!  I also thought my all-day sickness was getting better--to the point where I didn't need to take the zofran--boy was I wrong wrong wrong :(  I ended up dry heaving all morning yesterday.  It was NOT fun (I ran out of my perscription).  Thankfully I had another refill so I got it filled with my antibiotics!  Feeling better this morning though!  Here's to getting some relief!

Nicole- Glad that you got a call into the doctor. That sounds right what the nurse told you. It sounds like it's more swelling not blood pressure. Compression hose are great. They help prevent varicose veins, too! Yikes, more snow? Hope you get around okay!

Christine- Eeeh, that doesn't sound comfortable at all! Glad you got your prescription refilled. Hope your sinus infection goes away quickly! The hydrocortisone should help. You don't want to use it for an extended time on the same areas though.

Simone- How are you doing?

Isra- Hope those symptoms you've been having are for a good cause!

AFM- Going to run errands and then I go back to work tonight. I really need to get my Christmas tree down. I really really don't like having to pack all those things in. Uggh.

Christine: Yah, not fun :P Darn sinus infection :( But, at least you're being treated for it now and using the hydrocortisone for the itchies. That stinks you're still having to rely on the Zofran to keep the nausea away, but glad you were able to get it refilled and you're feeling better again :)

Tara: Yup, I have them on now. I was able to get them from central supply so I wouldn't have to wait to go to the drugstore after work, perks of the hospital ;) I AM starting to see varicose veins so that's good they'll help with them too.  I know, I love putting up the decorations, but taking them down isn't really any fun. You have your last HCG today right?

Nicole- Nice! That's great you didn't have to go far to get them ;) I have one varicose vein that's small on my calf that is tender. Not fun. Yep, last hCG this month today. I'll have DH do it when he gets home from work today which should be pretty soon. I am starting to feel that fullness already. I ended up guessing and overiding O, so I kinda have an easier way to count where I'm at. KMFC! So so tired of this process.

Simone- Thanks! Your chart looks GREAT!

AFM- Just realized last night that they wrote my test date down at 1/19. I have been having my test date 10 days after my last hcg which would be the 7th. I thought the 19th seemed really far. I don't know maybe I'm wrong.

Tara could you call them tomorrow and ask them about it? What I have read by 10-12 days the hcg from the shots is gone so I think you'd be able to test and have an accurate result.

I am getting very anxious to test myself. It is looking like my preggy chart with Lennox from 4 years prior.

Tara: I think the stockings helped because the swelling seems less today and I've been keeping my feet up as much as possible. They still feel heavy, but not as painful. Yah, those varicose veins ARE pretty tender :( I've noticed them earlier on but they just look more prominent now with the swelling. Did yours just show up recently? YAY your HCG's are done for the month! Feeling fullness already is a good sign. Hmm, your O date could range from CD17 at the 1st HCG to the day of your 2nd. The temps are hard to go by because the shots could be affecting them as you've seen in some other past cycles. Oh boy, testing on the 7th is SOOOO much better than waiting to the 19th and makes sense waiting 10 days after your shot yesterday :)

Simone: Oh my gosh, your chart looks great! Triphasic too, and you definitely had that with Lennox ;)

FX'd for BOTH of you!!!
