Good morning ladies :)

Boy, I missed a lot since I posted Happy New Year yesterday morning!

Nausea has gotten worse over the last few days and I'm still exhausted even after a day off. My sense of smell is so potent enough to trigger it even when I open the refrigerator or be near something that's just been cooked. Didn't have it this bad with Aaron. No heartburn or  headaches either. I wish I could lock my office door, crawl under my desk and sleep.

Simone: Everyone kept telling me I was having a girl when I was pg with Kale because his heart rate was always in the 160's until like the last month of pregnancy then it dropped in the 130's.  because this baby's heart rate is the same as Kales. I'm thinking another boy For that reason, but we shall see. 

Afm: ever since I've been pg my allergies have flared up. My nose is either all stuffed up, so that every time I swallow my ears pop or running like a faucet. The first few weeks it was annoying, but now it's getting ridiculous its gotten a little worse especially when I try to sleep. I seem to wake up every hour because of it and have a hard time falling back to sleep.  I even tried a netty pot last night which worked for like 15 min then came back. I also ran are air purifiers all last night and it seems to be a little better this morning. I'm just beyond frustrated with it and can't wait to talk to my dr at our next appointment, but unfortunately that's not till 1/15. Argh!! I'm starting to get real scared about what my actual bad allergy season will bring in April-July. With my pregnancy with Kale they let me take Allegra, but I've looked it up and it's class c so I'd rather not take but no other allergy meds seems to be strong enough for me. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Nicole - I am sorry you have it so tough this time.  It's all for a good cause, though, right? ;)  I think it's just the baby confusing your body, s/he is annoyed at having to share you with so many other things. ;)  Yes, I'm staying off the metformin for now - we will see what happens this cycle.  I was starting to regret not temping for a month or two before starting the metformin, but I didn't want to restart the whole symptom thing just to "see what would happen".  Now that I'm off, though, I'm just going to stay off.  We will see at the end of the month what happens, if FF is confused again, or if I have a short luteal cycle (according to FF), or don't O (or am PG), back to the doctor I go.  I'm feeling better today, just crampy because of AF and really tired.  Hopefully I will be up and running tomorrow.  Still sneezing, a lot, though.

Haley - Right, I remember you saying that Kale's HB was high and everyone said he was a girl.  I hear you on the stuffed up, once when I was pg it got so bad I was sure I wasn't going to make it through the night because I couldn't breathe when I closed my mouth, and even when it was open, breathing was difficult.  They told me to use saline spray for it.  You could try it.  It stinks that your allergies are flaring up so much.  Can you get an earlier app't with your doctor?

AFM - I got this idea in my head earlier that maybe it was IB, because I've never had a 22-day cycle, and then I went to the bathroom and whoopee!  I soaked through a pad!  (I think I soaked through another one, too, but I haven't gone to the bathroom to change it.)  It made me so happy to see a normal period again!  Forget IB, who needs it?  I haven't had a normal-weight(?) period in too long, and it was one of the main things I was worried about.  Phew!  Thank G-d!  Not sure what happened previously, but as long as it's fixed, I don't care.  Here's to a normal period, and a normal cycle with obvious O!

Something funny: Yesterday (maybe the day before) I was talking to DH and told him that I just realized, suddenly, that I only have to worry about AF if my temp drops - and that I felt stupid for not having realized that before.  Yesterday my temp jumped to 36.9 (not sure if it was because I was sick or not, didn't have a fever at all), and today it dropped to 36.6 (not really a drop, if you don't count yesterday's).  DH looked at the thermometer and said, "Are you going to get your period today?"  I said I don't know, maybe my temp yesterday was messed up, we'll wait and see if it comes or if my temp goes back up/stays this way tomorrow.  Then I went to the bathroom and discovered that I already had my period!  LOL.  Just proves the point, huh? 

Isra: Yeah, I keep telling myself that ;) Maybe my body is confused because it thinks I'm still carrying twins? You're better off staying off of it, see how things go without it for a whole cycle. I'm glad you're feeling better today :) I'm sorry the sneezing is still persisting though :P Well my dear, you DO have a full-fledged period this time! I hope things ARE normal now with your cycles :) Temps can just drop slightly and be signs of AF coming. The one from yesterday WAS probably affected by you being sick even if you didn't have a fever, it still can elevate some when you're trying to fight something.
