Tara: I'm so sorry you're feeling worse :( But, I'm glad you DID cancel those appts, that's what's best for you. I hope you CAN miss the work meeting too.

Tara: So sorry your sick, I'm still trying to get over mine. I have a feeling its going to be a bad year for sickness. I'm going to live in a bubble. Yes we are going to the great wolf lodge. We've been trying to go for some time. So we're excited to finally make it happen. Nicole: sorry your still not feeling well either. So frustrating to think you'll be better soon enough ait's till be sick sometime later. Amber: glad your starting to get some relief. I've had the bad stuffiness at night as well this whole pregnancy. They say pregnancy just causes you to have more mucus. Just another wonderful side effect of pregnancy. Afm: this cold is getting old but I think it is on its way out. My headache finally went away last night. But I was having some serious amount of guilt for taking so much Tylenol this pregnancy. With kale I only took it twice throughout my entire pregnancy and I think I've taken it about 13 times in the past 16 weeks. I hate taking meds when pregnant. I'm just sure I'm doing harm to baby. Now to find out if the stuffy nose and constantly running nose (I mean seriously, someone should not have as much snot as I have) is remainder of cold or just allergy pregnancy stuffiness I had been feeling but was getting better in the last couple weeks. Time will tell.

Thanks Haley ♥ I hope your cold IS on it's way out and it doesn't turn back to allergies. Don't feel guilty about taking Tylenol, it's the only safe one for those headaches and my OB said it's ok up to 4 times a day without any harm even the extra strength.

Hey ladies, i am sorry you all have been sick!! :( my friend went and got the puppy she found online and brought her to me friday, much to my surprise! DH wasnt too happy at first, but he seems to have come around. I was thinking it'd be the cure to missing Kase, but scarlet seems to make me miss her more! Shes no where close to Kasey, she is a sweetie, but has alot of quirks...but im glad shes here and different. Question...now that i know the mirena was the root of the bleeding issues, now i have a new set of issues, which would have me extremely worried, had i not had a negative pregnancy test on the 15th at my appt. I've started crying easily/for no reason. Like you could say I looked amazing and I'd cry! I thought it was just because Kasey passed away, but its getting ridiculous. I also tend to feel overwhelmed and start to cry. Between school, Layla, household duties that never seem to get accomplished, to now having to scramble to find someone to watch layla, Missing kasey, and etc, then Layla goes through periods of screaming whenever you put her down (spoiled, in my opinion!) I just feel like its all too much. then I really cry. Then i'll cry for every reason under the sun: money troubles, stress, because laylas crying, kasey, school deadlines. However, most of the time, I feel fine and will cry for no reason. like just staring at the tv. I dont feel depressed at all.. i feel great for the most part, just emotions ALL OVER the place! I was also given dicuflan at my appt, and took that, but around that time i also started getting nauseated periodically during the day. ugh. that seems to have slowed down again. I also feel tired, but not overhwelmingly.. I also have alot going on too. Last symptom is a slight decrease in milk supply (in my opinion) ...its just not the same, it seems less than usual. My friend keeps telling me its probably postpartum thyroiditis, but i really dont know who to even call in order to explain my concerns to. My ob/gyn or pcp? And I really dont feel like going all the way in for them to examine me, when all they will do is order a blood test. lol Any thoughts?

Just got back from the doctors.....heard the heartbeat it was 162, and tomorrow I go to the maternal metal specialist for my first appt. since I'm diabetic they send me to be monitored more closely, I have the genetic testing being done tomorrow athe us ultrasound and I'm nervous! Have any of you ladies had this done? I can't believe I made it to 12 weeks! Yay! I'm also trying to decide when to post on Facebook. Any ideas?

Haley- That sounds like a lot of fun! I have wanted to go there, too. Feel like I need little kids for it though ;) Yes, I think this year is really bad as far as sickness. It seems like everyone I know has been sick at least once. Work even called today to ask for help because they had two sick calls. Brie- It sounds like you are really stressed out. That's how I hd been feeling before I made my counseling appt. I didn't want to admit that I might be depressed. You have a lot on your plate and Kasey passing sure makes it all worse. Your puppy won't take Kasey's place, but I sure hope it helps having a new furry friend to love. Amber- Yay! Glad your appt went well! Not sure when to post that on FB...entirely up to you.

Morning ladies, Stayed home last night. My frequent trips to the bathroom wouldn't have gone too well being at the movies. I was kind of bummed that we missed out on our "date night", but I guess it just had to go that way. Now to get through another work day...Can't wait to see my little guy :) Brie: I'm so happy that you got the puppy afterall :) I can understand that she makes you miss Kasey more, but you will love Scarlet and appreciate her uniqueness ;) Oh hunnie, being so emotional most likely stems from a combination of losing Kasey to your postpartum stresses. You don't want to ignore your feelings and also physical signs like your milk supply decreasing. I think calling your OB/GYN is the first step to figuring out what's going on. Yes, they will probably want doto labs, but I'm sure there will be more to the exam than that. It will be worth it ((BIG HUGS)) ♥ Amber: So glad everything went well yesterday :) GL with your MFM appt today, and don't worry about the genetic testing. I had that at 12 weeks too, the ultrasound part. It goes a little longer so you'll be able to see your baby bouncing around in there ;) I got to take home a "film strip" of pics from that one :) Since you're actually at the end of your 1st trimester now it would be ok to announce it, but like Tara said it's up to you how public you want to go with it. Hey everyone! I can't even remember everyone's names who I should be shouting out too. Its been so long, sorry. Arrietta is already 8 months. Where does the time go? YEAH NICOLE!!!! COngratulations!!! This is so exciting. Sorry you are sick though, that sucks for sure! Tara - darn AF, hope you get feeling better too! To everyone else TTC - good luck, I wish all of you much luck. Brie- Its ok to cry, I remember with my son I was a lot like what you are describing. I think you should talk to whoever you are most comfortable with. That was and is always my OB/GYN. They can help you work through some stuff. Just try not to stress over non important stuff. I know the feeling of the house and stuff not being what you used to have but thats not important. You and the baby being healthy and happy is most important. Good luck with the puppy too, you've been through a lot.
