Isra- I couldn't get that link to work. Damn AF, I'm sorry that's no good at all! I'm not sure if DH is going to take an extra day off yet.

Nicole- Tough Mudder is a 13 or so mile obstacle course type event. DH did it last year with some of our friends. I would like to, but hope I'm PG instead.

Simone- Oh no, not you too! I'm sorry.

Autumn- Unless there is a medical reason there's no reason it's not okay she hasn't come yet you're not overdue. Your body just may not be ready to start progressing yet. We see a lot of women walk around for weeks dilated like you and go on to deliver vaginally. Don't lose hope. That's not very nice of people getting down on you for something you aren't even contemplating. They aren't in your shoes.

AFM- Been feeling a little crampy. That's about all. Just got donw working out and need to go take a shower so I can eat dinner.

Nicole, remind me what the original problem was, I seem to have forgotten it in the midst of all the nausea and not eating.  My cousin had difficult pregnancies with her girls, and easy ones with her boys (and she had girl, boy, boy, girl, boy, girl (not sure how the last girl's pregnancy went)).  So, it all depends.  Don't worry too much, if you've been eating right and taking your vitamins, everything should be fine.  It also could be because you started out with twins.  And if you're really worried, do a CBC, that should tell you anything you want to know.  Right, they do like like they're normalizing.  Hopefully it will keep up, and I'll get a BFP.  But, I do think the metformin kind of woke my ovaries up.  I read that OPKs can be used as HPTs, but they're not always accurate.  I guess they're not.  (There's actually a site on it, peeonastick.com.)

Autumn, I wouldn't worry about it.  You will progress in your own time, and your labor will be shorter because you are already mostly there.  I think you're right to wait until after your due date, there doesn't seem to be any reason to do otherwise.

Simone, sorry AF showed!  That's a bummer!  Maybe we can be bump buddies next month, with Tara two weeks ahead of us.  How long is your luteal phase normally?  Ugh, you always seem to find the awful news.  That is scary.  I hope they get the child back, safely.

Tara, I'm trying it again: wisewomanfertility.blogspot.com/  If it doesn't work, just type in the address the long way.  Hopefully those are implantation cramps!

Morning ladies :)

Last day of January and it's warm like Spring, lots of rain and wind though.

Simone: Darn AF :P I'm sorry hun ((HUGS)) That's horrible, I didn't hear about it. There is too much violence in this world, it's so sad and heartbreaking :( I will definitely say some prayers for that little boy.

Tara: Wow, that sounds strenuous! Good for him keeping motivated to do it again this year :) Oh no crampies, unless they're the "good" kind ;) Maybe yesterdays temp drop was implantation dip so that could be the "good" crampies FX'd!

Isra: I ended up with a stomach bug originally back on the 3rd, that's when I had to be treated with IV fluids and go on the BRAT diet for about a week. People have been saying with all this sickness I may be having a girl, but it could just going backwards with the tummy issues I was having in my 3rd trimester with Aaron and another boy (?) I AM trying to eat right (increasing fiber and protein) and taking my vitamins (although as I told Amber they're making me more queasy) My OB did say that my body was starting out with extra hormones to support the twins, so maybe they're still hanging around even now that BabyB has left us (?) I think they will do a CBC on Mon since the last time I was so dehydrated and they'll want to make sure my levels ARE normalized. If not, I work in a lab so I can always have it drawn here. Let's hope the Metformin DID wake up your ovaries and you're getting more regulated now :) Hmm, that's interesting about the OPK's as HPT's, it didn't make sense if you're looking for 2 different hormones. The accuracy of them would definitely be off I think.

Love and ((HUGS)) to you all ♥

Isra- I'm not sure how much stock I put into that information. As I agree that not all doctors are the best, it seems to me there's some bashing going on. Also, she has no formal training. I think the fact she is raising awareness that people need to be informed is a good thing though. Thank you for your support. I do enjoy reading articles like that, but have to take them with a grain of salt.

Nicole- Yeah my temp has been going down. I did wake up earlier yesterday, too.

I only had the cramps yesterday so far and only for a little bit. I want to hope it's implantation, but am afraid to put too much stock into it. Not a whole lot else to report other than some occasional fullness feeling. Last hCG shot willl be this afternoon.

Tara: Hmm, could be why your temp was down. But, seeing that your cramps were only yesterday and for a short time it very well COULD be implantion ;) GL with your last HCG :) Do you know when you're leaving on your trip and how long you'll be staying yet?

Nicole - Ooh, thanks for reminding me.  Right, you had a stomach bug and then you did the BRAT diet.  I don't know why you're feeling this awful, could be any number of reasons.  I know, you've been eating well and taking your vitamins. ;)  So, you shouldn't have to worry that your baby isn't getting enough. :)  Good, you'll be able to find out if there's anything specific that's causing this.  I guess it's convenient to work in a lab, huh?  I was always fascinated by them.  The POAS site said that HCG and LH are like identical twins, except that HCG wears a funny hat.  So HPTs test for the hat, and OPKs test for the body, which is identical.  There are always cases where it's not accurate, but in general, it works.  It's better for finding out if you should waste money on an HPT than for confirming pregnancy itself.

Tara - Yeah, I know what you mean.  But, at the same time, some medicines have scary side effects.  I don't think "natural" medicines are always so great, though - they're not regulated, and if you don't know what you're doing, it's just like playing with medicine.  But, if it works, then it works, and if it has less side effects, then to me it's a good deal.  Good luck with your last HCG shot. :)  I wonder why your temps have been going down, hm.  Hope your cramps are from implantation!

AFM - Somehow, I hurt the muscle behind my right knee yesterday.  I put arnica gel on it last night and again this morning, and it seems to be on the mend.  I also have a backache, and some knots in my neck.  The backache is probably from bad posture and accomodating my knee.  AF is so far, so good.  It started off kind of light, but now it's looking more normal, so that's good.

Tara: Yay for last trigger!! and crampiness...hopefully good reasoning this time!!

Isra: Well now that AF is getting normal again, at least you have no doubts about the cycle this time and will be able to start planning for the upcoming one! Sorry you've had so much internet troubles!

Amber: Dog training is very important.. I firmly believe that you not only have to train your dog on how to treat you and your children, but also to train your children how to treat your dog. Its not too late to try to correct some behaviors. :)

Nicole: you're still having nausea this late? :( When do you get to find out what the baby is?! I am still saying girl ;)

autumn: you never told me about that! I took an eviction notice picture when i was like 38 weeks pregnant.. theres nothing wrong with wishful thinking and whoever said anything rude to you about it, needs to come see me. I'll set em straight for you, and you know I have NO issue doing that. at all. They need to get off your back. geez. I'd be dying if i made that much progress and hadnt given birth yet.

afm- my friend who got me scarlet, came through for me again. Her mom is watching her, but she doesnt get off til 9 am so another lady is watching her for an hour. Both of them are wonderful, and Layla enjoys both of them so im great. I wish Scarlet would actually "listen" to her training..that usually helps!! LOL.  Oh well.. she will learn eventually. I hope. :)

I totally almost failed my first math test of the semester, and completely forgot an assignment (or so i thought) anyway, My math teacher pulled me aside this morning, and said she was proud of me either way. She said Im doing wonderfully compared to most people who have babies and go back to school. she said she was in advanced calculus and had her first one and then he got chicken pox and she said it was so hard. She said not to worry and keep it up. And oh..I didnt forget the assignment i thought i did! What a relief! Man oh man!

Nicole- I'm not exactly sure yet when we are leaving. I am hoping for Wednesday afternoon, but DH was thinking Thursday. We will come back Monday night. I really want one more night, so we can get in a little extra skiing while we are there. AF seems like she should show up when we are leaving, but if she is still gone on the Monday we come back then I will call in for a test.

Isra- I don't have a problem with a minimal or natural approach at all. I wish people did a little more research into their healthcare whatever they decide. Especially, when taking medications. There are risks to almost everything and making sure you're properly folled is important. I wish there was a better way for us to get PG because I far rather have no interventions than doing what we have been. Oh, your poor knee. I hope you didn't mess it up too bad! That's really good that AF is 'normal'!

Brie- That's so nice of your teacher to pull you aside like that. It sounds encouraging. I can only imagine how difficult it is to go through schooling with a newborn. Props to you! Keep up the hard work! How great of your friend and her Mom., too!

AFM- Woke up with some tender BB's although they aren't as tender as they were when I first got up. hCG shot went well. Done with those for the month which is nice!

Hello ladies!

Simone: Sorry AF showed :(  What a bummer...onward and upward!  Here's to this coming month!

Isra: Sorry about AF as well! :(  I hope that with your cycles getting back to "normal" that your BFP is right around the corner!  Are things settling down stresswise?  I know awhile back things were quite stressful as far as where you were living and what was going on there.

Tara: Things sound promising--I had bright red implantation bleeding at 9DPO (I believe) and got my BFP that same day (although light light light) I also had a temp dip 5DPO!  I am going to keep MY hopes up--and cross all my crossables for you!!  You are testing after this weekend right??

Brie: I was a senior in college when I had Noah.  I started the semester late (Delivered him Aug. 14th and started after labor day) and then graduated the following May.  It was definitely not easy--but was WELL worth the hard work!  Keep it up--and know that most professor's are pretty understanding!

Nicole and Amber: I hope you guys are feeling better!

AFM: Today I went probably 90% of the day without feeling like I was going to get sick!! WOOHOO!  And I have been off my Zofran for at least 2 days (yesterday and today) and  it may have been 3--but for the life of me I can't remember if I took it on Tuesday!  Cold is still hanging in there--but slowly but surely getting better!  Life is still crazy around here!  School, Grad School, 2nd job, and the boys (all of them!)  Thankfully they have really cut back hours at my 2nd job--so I have barely worked in January!  So that is so wonderful!  It has been a MUCH MUCH needed break--and while money has been a little tighter, we made it through even with the higher bills (because of moving in/starting and restarting services).  So that is definitely good to know--because we are unsure of what I am going to do once the baby arrives.  If they will keep me at working just 1 day a week I will do it--however I am not sure they will--at that point I will likely just quit.  I may quit anyway..but I am not sure.

Christine- I won't be testing until the 11th whish is the monday after this one. Seems like a ways off still. That's fantastic that you made it through most of the day feeling okay! Hope your move has gone well!

AFM- Uggh, been feeling crampy tonight again and some major indigestion.
