Tara - Yeah, it's frustrating. Kind of insulting, actually. But, maybe it's for the best - one less distraction. LOL, I forgot it was Valentine's Day...oops. :) Hope you enjoyed! Nicole - Hope everything went well yesterday! Hope you got good news! ((HUGS)) AFM - My temp dropped today, so I'm nervous AF will show and I'll be left with another 6 day LP. If so I am going to the doctor today or tomorrow, or sometime soon. On a brighter note, last month I had a 12 day LP, so there's really no reason why it might be an AF drop, but that only tomorrow will tell...and maybe it's an implantation dip. Hope so! I have been really gassy since Friday, not sure why. And I've been hungry, too, no matter what I eat - I feel like the hungry hungry caterpillar. SOOO, praying that it's implantation...

Nicole- I hope all went well with your tests Friday. How scary. I keep you and your family in my prayers always. Tara- *hugs* I hope to see a positive very soon for you! AFM- Not much new. Nathan was sick today so it was a rough day around here. Not much is more fun then having throw up all down the front of you and a very sad baby. All you can do is hug them and pray you don't join in. Hope you all had a fabulous Valentine's day!

Hi ladies, The site wouldn't let me on yesterday so I could give my update from Fri :( I'm so glad I could get on this morning, so here goes... I'm so tired, it was quite a day. We met with the Genetic Counselor first and we discussed a lot. Then we went in for the u/s. I was so happy to have one of my favorite techs doing it :) It was very involved and took a long time. Baby was extremely active in there and didn't cooperate much for the measurements, but for the most part everything went well. Part way through the tech said I think your baby really wants to let us know what it is, another boy! It was very obvious ;) Dr. J (the MFM doctor) came in after she was done and said he didn't see any physical evidence of the trisomy by examing the u/s. However, because of the results of the Harmony test (same as the MaterniT21 Plus) he still recommended the amniocentesis. So, after more careful discussion we decided to do it. I was still very apprehensive and we had to delay things a little because of my nausea. It was not pleasant by any means and there are risks involved, but we felt it was the best way to know for sure. They're running a preliminary test which we will get the results tomorrow. Then the complete test will be available after another week. He seems optimistic at this point so that put us at ease at least to get through the weekend. I'm instructed to rest so it's good I have tomorrow off as well to extend my time to do so :) I'm pretty sore, really trying to take it easy. Thank you again for all your continued thoughts and prayers, I cannot tell you enough how very much appreciated they are ♥♥♥ Love and ((HUGS)) to you all ♥

isra'smom: Could it be an implantation dip? I hope its not another really short cycle for you again! Nicole: Oh what wonderful news!! I was getting worried no news meant not so good news! I am so glad that as far as it goes things look good! I had an amniocentesis as well--and mine was pretty darn quick, however being stabbed in the belly was not very fun AT ALL--and I was much further along so I can imagine it would have been more difficult having the uterus and fluid not as close to the surface. Praying that all comes back great with the amnio results! Amy: My boys had the stomach flu in January and it was absolutely horrible! And they are much much older than Nathan is! When one of my boys was little like that it was HORRIBLE--I literally had to hold his head up because he was so exhausted but still throwing up :( I was still nursing---and all he wanted to do was nurse, but the nurse said to not let him nurse more than 5 minutes. Which is almost impossible when all they want to do is snuggle and nurse! I hope Nathan feels better soon! AFM--I gotta get to work, so I don't have much of an update! Pretty much the same ol' same ol'! :)
