Amber - Yay for your scan!  Hope it goes well!  Yes, it can be really hard to wait it out.  Wow, an hour really is a long time.  That should be fun, enjoy!  Is your husband coming with you to the scan?  Wow, March 12th seems to close!

AFM - So I am doing my bloodwork tomorrow, I think.  I have to fast (except water) from midnight tonight.  And they want FMU!  How under the sun am I going to do that??  I can barely hold it in before temping!  Oh, and DH took my thermometer and "hid" it with the others.  I want to temp until CD19 (just to be obsessive and know what's going to happen), but we will see.  I am exhausted, I haven't been sleeping well, keep waking up.  But, other than that, I feel fine, thank G-d.  And trading nausea, vomiting, staying in bed for the first trimester and losing a lot of muscle for just being tired - is a pretty good deal.  In other words, if this is what this pregnancy will be like, I'm all for it.  With Shimon I was tired AND I had everything I mentioned above.  I am also crabby (probably from exhaustion), beware. :D

Nicole - Yeah, they're testing lots of stuff.  Actually, I don't quite understand why they want FMU.  Here's what they're testing (and you'll see why I don't understand: CBC, PT, B12, HBS antigen, Rubella IGG, urine culture, TSH, HCG quantity, glucose, liver profile, COOMBS indirect, CMV ABS, Toxoplasma ABS, TPHA, urine general.

What under the sun are: PT, HBS, COOMBS, and TPHA?  And why, for a urine culture/general, do they want FMU?

I don't know about STAT, usually the results appear on the computer (I can view them by logging into my account online) that day or a few days later.  I think that's what will be...

I dunno, I usually wake up around 5:30 or 6, and the lab only opens at 7:30 (plus I have to walk uphill for 20 minutes to get there).  Maybe SMU is good enough?  Or I can pee into a cup that we have at home?  I have a feeling that it'll come out contaminated if I do that, though.  You think I'll sleep better after I know for sure?

Wow.  I just looked these tests up on the computer.  They are kind of scary.  It's good that the doctor is testing, but I don't even want to think about these.  I am not sure I want to see my results, or just go back to the doctor ignorant.  I guess I recognize all the benign ones.  Ugh...now I'm going to be worried until I find out.  Maybe I should make DH test, too?  Just to be safe?

Dh came home from work and gave me the trigger shot about 3:00. Now, just onto tomorrow and the the waiting game all over again. Just got done doing a Jillian work out...was tough today, but I perservered.
