My name is Chris LaValle and I have an 8 year old son.
Every day, children are subjected to extreme violence, and one area of real concern is in the video games they play, in some cases for hours upon hours every day. They are shown how to become an assailant and begin to associate killing with pleasure and entertainment. In some cases it becomes an addiction, in others children are desensitized, and killing becomes second nature. This glorification of murder as activity for our nations youth has got to stop. Please sign this petition, to hopefully set new guidelines and rules regarding violence in our children's games. If something is illegal, immoral in real life, it can not be taught, celebrated and encouraged in our children's video games.
