November 23rd, I went to the doctor because my right ear was hurting. I knew on the Friday before my appointment that I had an ear infection. That morning, it was confirmed that I had not only an ear infection in my right ear, but it was starting in my left ear too. I told my doctor that I was three days late on my period. She told me not to worry. I told her that since she put me on Metformin to regulate my periods, I have been on time ever month. She offered to due a pregnancy test, but said that she is certain that I am not. I told her that I would not do the test. Then as my doctor walked out of the exam room, I hesitated and changed my mind. I told her, "Well the worse thing you will end up calling me and telling me is that I am not pregnant, so lets go ahead and do it!" About an hour later I received a phone call from my doctor saying, "Feliz Navidad, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, your pregnant!" I was speechless. I was not expecting that phone call.
