I promise you won't be pregnant forever :) I know you are so ready though. I've been in your shoes. My son was born 2 days past his due date. I wasn't dialated at 39 weeks either. I hope you get to meet your little one very soon!

Good luck! I'll be 38 weeks this Saturday. His comfy little hotel room is getting a little be stuffy. I'm not sure if I am dialated at all yet as my obgyn has not checked. I go to the doctor's tomorrow, so we'll see what he says. My mom flies home next Monday, and she'll be here until her grandson is born! I cannot wait! Good luck with your labor and delivery!!!

No luck for me! I'm 39 weeks today (I think my math was a little off last time!), and my doctor said he'll do the internal on Tuesday. So, we will see when he gets here. I think we can all agree we're ready to see our little ones!!!

I had my precious little one on January 24th at 9:06 pm! I beautiful healthy boy, 8lbs 4.75 oz & 21 inches long!! I lost my mucous plug around 1:00am that morning, and had a doctor's appt. at 8am, so I decided to wait. I went in and sure enough I was leaking amniotic fluid, and I was 2cm dialated. I went straight upstairs to labor & delivery. They started an IV right away with antibiotics because I tested positive for Group B Strep. The doctor checked me around 12:30pm, I was still 2cm dialated, but contractions weren't getting stronger. So, he decided to start pitocin. I made it until 6:30pm that night when he came to do his next internal check. This is where I found out I was 6cm, in a lot of pain, and wanted the epidural!! The epidural was the best decidsion I've ever made! After that, I was a happy girl. I was 10cm around 8:30, pushed for about a half hour, and out he came!!! I tore a little, and the doctor didn't do an episiotomy, so he had to sew me up. The pain and discomfort I felt for the next couple of days was unlike anything I've ever felt, but definitely worth it for our Logan! Congrats to all other ladies who were expecting this month!!! :) Good luck!!!
