Hi to all moms and moms to be! I'm new to the website and hoping I can find lots of information and advice on here!! I'm the first of my friends to get married and pregnant so I don't really have the support group I'm used to with other things in my life. One dilema I'm having now is actually kind of a silly one! I really want to get professional pictures taken while I'm pregnant. I think the black and white pictures of women with big bellies and their husbands kissing it are the cutest things! I'm not sure when to schedule an appointment! I want to be as far along as possible so I have the biggest belly I can have, but I don't want to wait so long that I could go into labor before my due date. Since I'm due in January I'll be pretty far along during the Christmas season so I want to make an appointment ASAP before they fill up. Any adivice?? Thanks!

I would wait until late in the 8th month if you can...your belly will be nice and round at that point but you should still be ok with movement and being photogenic. I work with a photographer here and town and that is what we suggest. Also, if you can find one, get a photographer who will come to your house or desired location. You will be FAR more comfortable and that will transfer into the photographs! Good luck and let us know how they turn out! :)

with christmas comming soon i would call to schedual now maybe like second week of december or so that way your not to uncomfortable

I am due jan 22 and I am going December 5th. I also love those pictures and wanted them taken as close to the end as possible but decided that might not be the best idea. I may not be as comfortable. So I figured if I went in early December I would still be HUGE and would love the pictures!! I would be careful not to push it too far because you never know.....these littles ones could join us around christmas!!! LOL! Never know with a little one!

With my son it was exactly 1 month before he was born and then my daughter was about 2 weeks before because she was about 2 weeks early. I think if you shoot for about a month before that would be a good time.

I really want belly pictures, but last week I got 3 stretch marks! So now i'm not sure if I'm going to get them :(
