Haley- I am also a type one diabetic so the amount of appts I will have will be numerous. I also have to start seeing a new obgyn for next appt., the one I currently see is no longer practicing OB but she said she would go on ahead and do my blood work and get everything scheduled and going.

My name is Katie and I am 27. My husband and I are expecting our first child in July. My due date is 7/7. We are both very excited and very nervous at the same time. We are scheduled for our second prenatal exam next Tuesday 12/6 where he told us we would hear the heartbeat. I am starting to feel pregnant. My clothes are getting tighter and I AM 100% exhausted all the time! I haven't experienced much morning sickness. Mine usually comes in the evening around dinner time. I find that if I eat smaller meals and snack throughout the day that I can beat the sickness. I have no yet hugged the porcelain throne, and hope not to. I am dying to tell people but we have decided to wait until Christmas. We have our reveal al planned out for both my family and his and are really excited! He told his boss and I told a good female friend of mine, but other than my doctor, no on else knows.

Hello everyone and congratulations! My name is Meredith. I'm 23 and my husband and I are expecting our first child. We are due July 10th, 2013. I'm hoping this group will be a good outlet for all of my pregnancy emotions! I couldn't be more excited or anxious. We had our first ultrasound at 7 weeks 2 days and everything went well. Looking forward to sharing this exprience with all of you.

Welcome Katie and Meredith. You guys are both right around the same due date as me. Or at least what I think my due date is. I have crazy irregular cycles so when I got to my first dr appt in 2 weeks I'll get my official due date. I'm hoping its close to the 8th as that is what is ingraved in my head. Haley

hi im teri. im 26 years old. im 5weeks and 3 days pregnant with my 2nd baby. im due july 29. im a little concerned right now because im having some light spotting. its actually really light. no cramping but my legs hurt. i am also having trouble sleeping. i am very tired but when i lay down i cant fall asleep. has anyone else ever experienced any of this? so far this pregnancy is totally different from my first.

Welcome Teri. I hope the spotting is nothing more then early pg spotting. I've had occasional insomnia with this pregnancy. Especially when I wake up in the middle of the night to pee I usually can't fall back to sleep for an hour or two. Haley

Hello! After reading Amber's introduction i got all excited. I found out Thanksgiving morning as well that i was pregnant! I was thrilled. My husband and i had been trying for a few months and just did not think it was going to happen. :) I am assuming i am due July 31st. Do not get to see the doctor until the 31st of Dec. Congratualtions to you mothers! Excited/Nervous Lindsey

Welcome Lindsey! We must be very very close as far as how far along we are. What kinds of symptoms are you feeling so far? I'm so excited and nervous as well... These forums are awesome all the moms and moms to be are so helpful and knowledgable!
