Hey Amber, Well the week before i felt like food was the devil could not go near it. As of now guessing i am about 6 weeks tomorrow, i am naseuas through out the day but the minute i put food in my mouth i am okay. I love sweets....can't go near them, did not even eat pie for Thanksgiving i was so dissapointed. I am pretty sleepy by lunch time and the end of work. Other then that my breast are KILLLING me! How about you? I am very nervous as well we are going to tell family at Christmas time but i am somewhat nervous about doing it. I am horrible at keeping it a secret with some people, i just keep smiling so much.

Lindsey totally know the feeling about keeping a secret! I just can't do it! My boobs feel better the last few days, but boy this weekend they felt awful! My nausea is hit and miss on days. I go for my first ultrasound next Tuesday I'm so nervous!

I also realized today that my wrists and ankles and sometimes around my knuckles have been just aching. Mainly in the morning. Good Luck at it! I am so sad i have to wait until the end of the month, i just want to go to the doc now!

Hi, my name is Lani. I'm 27 and live in MA. My husband and I have been together for six years and this is our first child. I'm alternating between excited and scared out of my mind. The first OB appointment was last week, where we got our first look at the baby (it looked like a Teddy Graham at 8 weeks) and they measured the heartbeat- everything checked out great. My due date was calculated at July 12. I'm hoping this group will help with some of my first time Mom jitters!

Hi Lani - Welcome to the blog! This is my first baby too, so I completely understand the nervouseness. There are days I am freaked out by the smallest things. This has really helped to ease my anxiety and just enjoy being pregnant!

Hi!! My name is Jessica, I go by Jessi. I am 18 and I live in NC. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 7 years. We are expecting our first baby [either Cheyanne Nicole or David Wayne(III)] on July 27, 2013. We're both still young and are therefore looking for all the advice we can get. He works at a warehouse out of town stacking furniture. I am still searching for a job, myself. We're getting ready to move into our first home together. [SO EXCITED!]
I ask that you do not judge my age as I am a strong young woman with a lot of will-power. This was an unplanned pregnancy for us, but we're both excited and seeking support.

Welcome Lani and Jessica! Glad to have some more members. I was so grateful for the boards when I was pg with my son so I hope we can give you the support and comfort I got. Jessica no judgment here. My sis in law had her little boy at eighteen and she is one of the best moms I know. As I'm sure you will be as well. I'm sure it will come with its own challenges but hey all babies do. Hiya! I'm Heather, and I'm pregnant with my second child, due July 6, 2013. My son, Joshua, will be three in mid-January, and I have two stepchildren from my husband's first marriage. I am 29 years old, and my husband and I will have been married two years come March. I'm praying for a healthy baby, first and foremost, but I'd really like a girl. If we have a girl, she'll be our last child, and if we have a boy, we'll be trying once more for my girl. If we have a girl, her name will be Stella Rose (the middle name may change, my husband's being ornery >.>). We haven't settled on a boy's name yet. We currently live in Ohio, but we're planning to hopefully move sometime in March or April to Arkansas, where my dad and brother live.
