Has anyone already bought or started to make planes for this baby?

Since this is my second I pretty much have everything I need. I need to start making preparations for the baRhys room. But we are going to have to do some pretty intense clean out three four rooms to move stuff around. At this point it just seems overwhelming and so has been put on the back burner.

Im going to be near an outlet mall in two weeks that has a carters store. I love carter Jammie's and plan on buying a boy and girl Jammie outfit to bring baby home in and figure when I find out what I'm having I can give the other as a gift to someone else down the road. I just can't pass up a carter store. It will be hard to buy only those two things though.

We have decided to throw a gender reveal part in February after we have that ultrasound. I think I'm more excited to do that then anything.

So far that's about it for us.

Ohhh I've never been to a gender reveal party but always wanted to experience one!  I think it's such a neat idea!

The only thing we have planned is how to tell our parents. We decided to wait until Christmas since I will be 12 weeks.

We're starting to plan our baby shower! It feels a little early, but my mom and step-dad will be out to visit us in February, so we wanted to take advantage of them being here. Is any one else planning their shower yet? We're going to have a co-ed shower, so I'm looking for some good games that aren't too girly. Let me know if you have any! Thanks ladies.

We did a co-Ed baby shower with my last pregnancy. It was a lot of fun. I think the games they had us do we're tie are hands together and time us while we diapered and changed a dolls clothes and then they had one where they had a picture of each of us cut up. Then small groups of our friends put the pics together to say what are baby would look like.  they have a lot of neat baby shower especially co-Ed games online.

This time around I'm having a small close friend shower just for the girls. But since we have two other friends that are also pg we are going to have a daddy diaper party for them. Kind of like a boys in where all the guests bring packs of diapers.

I don't think it's to early to have your shower. I hope everything goes as planned.

Thanks for the ideas. I love the diaper challenge one! I'll definitely pass that along to the girl who's organizing. We're going with an alphabet/book theme, so we're also going to do a kids book quiz & maybe tongue twisters :)

It was so hard not buying everything right away. I could have had my first 6 months early and I would have been ready :)

Is there a time that is too early to start buying things for the baby? My husband and I have been looking at cribs and furniture but arent sure if its too early.

Also, we have been looking at convertible cribs that change from a crib to a toddler bed to a twin bed. Any experience with those? And if so, do you like them? If we have another baby in the next 2-5 years we would need another anyways. Thoughts? Are they worth it?
