We just told our families this weekend! This will be the first grandchild & first great-grandchild on my side of the family, and the first grandchild on his side of the family, so everyone is very excited! One of the main questions we have gotten is whether we will find out the gender or not. Most people were happy to hear that we would peek (I think they like being able to plan & buy gender appropriate things), but a few thought we should wait. I just know that if we tried to wait, I would be on the phone begging the doctor to tell me the day after the u/s, lol.

I have to know. I'm not overly fond of surprises. My mother-in-law, however, doesn't want to know, and didn't when I was pregnant with my son...though, well, it got spilled anyway because my stepchildren can't keep a secret to save their lives. But the gender reveal party is such a cute idea! I might have to borrow that. >.>

We'll be finding out the gender on Valentine's day! I can't think of a better V-day present! We'll have just had our babyshower, and we have family spread out all over the place, so I want to come up with a fun way to announce it online. I might set up a survey/quiz to make people guess, but that's just an idea. Have any of you ladies seen anything like that?
