Katie, I became a snacker when I was pregnant, I think I always had food in my hands:) It was more of a super slow eating proccess. Hope it passes soon and you are able to actually enjoy what you are eating. Tammy

Haley, I just did the same thing you are talking about. I started to feel better like my symptoms had subsided so when I got home today I took my last hpt and it clearly read pregnant. Lol it gave me a sense of relief! I have my first drs appt tomorrow with a totally new doctor so I'm quite nervous and since I'm considered high risk idk what to expect. Any suggestions or ideas about what will happen tomorrow?

If I can remember that far back. They take all the vital info. Weight, urine sample, blood pressure. I hadn't had a pap in over a year so I had to do one of those and then the feel around your uterus and measure you (belly button to pelvis) and then they'll either do a internal vaginal ultrasound or an outer ultrasound and measure baby and see the heart. I hope everything goes wonderful and you get your first picture of your little one. Haley

Thanks Haley I hope so too! I'm so nervous! I had bad nausea is morning and pretty much throughout the morning until I made myself eat lunch. My husband and I had been on a whirlwind trip this weekend, he had two job interviews in Nashville,TN on Friday which would put us an hour away from my family! FX'd he gets one of the jobs he interviewed for! Needless to say I slept the whole six hours home today in the car!

Sleep is good. I ended up watching my neice (6) and nephew (9) today so no nap for me. I'm so tired tonight. Yeah I start getting real sick if I don't eat at least the nausea feeling is starting to turn more into hunger in between meals. Just if I wait to long the hunger makes me so nausea that its hard to take the first bite but once I do I'm 100% better. You'll have to update us after your appointment tomorrow. PHaleyPHaley

The first appt was fairly quick and simple, at least it was for me. They took a urine sample, weight, blood pressure. Then I had a pelvic exam (pap if you need it). Take a list of questions you have been wanting to ask. I made the mistake of thinking I'd remember all of the questions I wanted to ask but totally forgot in the heat of the moment. I left his office remembering them all! I go to my second prenatal appt today. I'll let you all know how that goes!

Just got home from my appt. and I love my new obgyn! He is so awesome, very caring and informative. The appt was as I expected just the pelvic exam and got me set up for an unltrasound next Tuesday morning. I have a long list of labs to be run as well, but all in all a good apptointment. I am about 6 weeks along and my due date is August 1st.

Amber, sounds like you are on the right track. I had my second appt yesterday but we werent able to hear the heartbeat. He told me that they typically don't try until 10-12 weeks and that I should not be the least bit worried we didnt hear it yesterday. I am schedule to have an ultrasound on Friday so seeing my baby should alleviate any stress or worry I've been having.

Today I go to have my first ultrasound! I am beyond thrilled and anxious because we weren't able to hear the heartbeat on Tuesday (the doctor wasnt concerned since I am only 9 weeks). Will report back! Amber, how did your appt go?
