Today I go to have my first ultrasound! I am beyond thrilled and anxious because we weren't able to hear the heartbeat on Tuesday (the doctor wasnt concerned since I am only 9 weeks). Will report back! Amber, how did your appt go?

My appt went really well! I go on Tuesday to have my first ultrasound! Pretty much just the 100 questions and pelvic exam.

My ultrasound was amazing. We got to hear our little baby's heartbeat and saw it register on the screen. Then we got to see our little miracle. It was the cutest photo. We saw a full frontal - head, hands and feet and belly. We saw the baby moving, kicking its legs and it actually punched. I think he/she was waving! The ultrasound tech said that he/she looked like a little gummy bear. I completely agree. The most perfect gummy bear I have every seen. I couldnt hold back the tears of joy! They just flowed out of my eyes. Even my husband teared it. It was truly incredible!

Oh that is so cool. It is such an emotional, but very exciting experience. I can't wait until I finally get to see mine on Wednesday. This week is going to be so busy for me. I'm finally going to get my haird done. I'm so passed do. Wednesday I have my appt and then were going away next weekend so all week during my free time will be trying to get ready. Hopefully I do not over due it and am able to function by next weekend. Haley

Hey ladies, I've looked back at the last 10 weeks and I have been spotting for at least 2 days every 3 weeks. Is this something you have experienced? Its very light and I've never needed a pad or anything like that, but its pretty regular. My doctor doesnt seem too worried since it is so light and usually doesn't involve cramping (sometimes it is mild cramping). I've read about miscarraiges and they typically involved HEAVY bleeding and SEVERE cramping, so I don't think I am experiencing that at all.

Alright ladies, just got back from ultrasound... Saw the baby and a heartbeat! Lil nugget measured six weeks 2days so only about three days off of the original estimate. So now my due date is August 4. It was so awesome to see the Lil nugget and see the heartbeat, very reassuring!

I finally have my first appointment today in a couple hours. Im real excited but also so nervous. Got a very frustrating call yesterday from my drs office. Found out my insurance isn't going to reach the deductible to cover anything. my dr moved to a new clinic and how they do billing is so different them when I had my son. So I'm pretty stressed out and hoping we qualify for this assistant program. Unfortunately have not been able to get ahold of them yet. So I may still have to pay $700 just for my visit today. Not sure where that money is going to come from. ARGH!!! Not much I can do about it, baby is coming and it will eventually get paid off just may take me awhile.

Well, it took us a little while to decide where we wanted to go for care and the birth, but after touring a few places we decided on a birth center nearby. I absolutely love it, and have heard very good things from a few people that I know who have given birth there. Unfortunately, when I called to make an appointment earlier this week they didn't have anything available until mid January! The midwife didn't seem concerned, and said it would be fine to wait until then, but I'm kind of freaked out by the idea of waiting a whole month more before my first appointment! I know I'm healthy, and I haven't had any real problems or worries so far with the pregnancy, but since this is my first time I'm not sure what to do.

Hey ladies, need some advice and encouragement. Morning sickness seemed to disappear over night Thursday night into Friday. And this morning I still feel nothing. I'm so scared something is wrong, my mind keeps going to worst case scenario like a mc. what do you guys think?
