Hi Deana! Welcome and congrats :) Have you discussed your weight concern with your doctor?

I was worried about not gaining weight too-so I googled normal weight gain and found these links:
www.babycenter.com/pregnancy-weight-gain... *This one (once you put in your weight/height) shows you a typical graph which really shows how women don't necessarily gain too much weight until they are past the first trimester.
I had the same thing as someone else who posted-that I lost weight in the beginning and was just starting to gain it back now recently.
My biggest thing is that if you eat when you're hungry-your body will continue to tell you what you need to eat--and keep taking the prenatal vitamins (That was my downfall-but then a friend told me to take them at night and now I don't feel sick after taking them)
www.thebabycorner.com/tools/pregnancy/ca... *This one has a personalized 'summary'
www.babymed.com/tools/pregnancy-weight-g... *And this one had a week-by week chart of 'normal' weight for your height/original weight

Just chime right in Courtney! Myself and the other Moms will help as much as we can! :)
I agree! I have alot of friends who are parents already, and family members, but it's nice to have a 'non-bias' sounding board too!

I guess this is more of a question than a reply to someone else's post. I am a first time mom and I have a little peanut, Ariana who is 3 months old. She is doing very well developmentally speaking, but there is one thing that she does that concerns me alittle. We know she can/is starting to grasp objects, but most of the time when daddy and I have playtime with her, she's more interested in her hands!! She seems (to me) to wring them too, almost nervously, but I think I'm overthinking it! She just discovered them a few weeks ago, and her feet so is it just that it is a new 'toy'?

Hello fellow future moms! I've got a million questions, but one that's been on my mind the last few days is storing "cord blood". Have any of you heard of this? My friend did it, and says it's going to become something everyone does soon. I'm not very up to date on science, so I was hope to see/hear some other takes on this. Thanks, and I'm sure I'll have more questions to come! :)

Agreed! Amazing product. Read about it on SheKnows about a month ago and bought it right away. It's been a lifesaver -- especially the sleep training info!
