Does anyone have any tricks for after the baby is older on how to get him/her to sleep through the night? This is our first and I'm really hoping for a sleeper! My sister has 2 babies under the age of 2 and the 2 year old started sleeping through the night at age 1, the other one hasn't slept through the night yet and he is 8 months! He still gets up 3 times a night.. Just wondering if you have found any tricks that work? P.S. she has tried letting him cry and he'll cry for an hour and a half till he gets a bottle!

Is he eating baby food at this point and eating well? I'm wondering if it could be a hunger issue?

Hi Randy, Christine may be on to something there. It could be a hunger issue. They sleep better with full bellies. My first two started sleeping through the night right around the time I started feeding them some solid food. My thits one is a little over two and just started sleeping through the night:( Here is a link to our sleep issues Let us know what ends up working for you. Tammy

I think keeping sun light out of the room will help and I took my kids off of the bottle at 7 months. Also, I keep the temperature at 70 degrees at night so I would suggest you try these things.
