Hi, My son is will be 2yrs old in June. I've recently noticed that his right eye may be lazy. I only notice it when his head is straight and he's looking to the far left. It appears his eye lid sags a little and his eyeball isn't quite aligned with the other. Has anyone out there had to deal with this? I read that an eye exam is crucial but how does the dr tell if his vision is being affected? My son can't tell him?? Help please, Concerned Momma

My niece had a lazy eye. It wasn't bad and they gave her an eye patch to wear for a while. The patches just made that eye work harder and get stronger. The cool thing is that the patches had different designs on them so she didn't mind wearing them. I hope things go well with the Dr. and that it's something that can be fixed, like my niece.

Thank you for the reply. Sometimes I hate the internet. Things I've been reading scare me. We've got an apt next week so my fingers are crossed.
