Alright fellow mamas, I have a question. I'm trying to figure out the whole meals/snacks/bottles thing over here. Henry gets three meals a day (obviously) and a least a snack, sometimes two depending on when breakfast was. He's still nursing but usually only nurses 3 times during the day (and still at night, sometimes twice!) which leads me to think he's not getting enough calories during the day. When do your little ones get formula/breastmilk/milk and how often do they eat? Also, what are your favorite snacks for them?

Ava also has her 3 meals/day. She drinks about 15oz of formula/day. She does not eat during the night, so she drinks that between 6:30am-6:30pm. At daycare she has morning and afternoon snack. Not real consistent with this at home- depends on when she wakes up (she sleeps longer at home :) I always give her a sippy cup with juice/water at meals. For snack- Ava likes cheese, cereal, fruit, crackers...

Wow.. George is still a bottle aholic! He is still drinking 32 ounces a day of bottles.. He eats three times a day, but not every day. some days he just refuses food, I think its his teeth though. His top molars are in and his bottom ones are coming in, along with a few side teeth. For snacks george likes graham crackers, fruit, veggies, ususally red peppers and carrots. And george is still getting up EVERY night to drink a bottle. I think it has to be a habit cause we stuff him before he goes to bed. He gets a jar of meat, veggie and cereal before bed.

Snacks=bread, organic foods from my garden(whatever I have picked that day)cooked and blended, cereal, oatmeal plus cinamon, baby biscuits, pretty much whtever he wants to eat. Usually whatever I have in my hand he gets apiece of:) Juice juice juice.

Okay good. I thought our infrequent nursing was atypical, but he's busy and I think he forgets he's hungry too. :o) He's been sleeping longer stretches for us recently and that's really nice. :o)
