This past Saturday our family and friends came for a Diaper Party...we decided not to have a baby shower this time as we're having another girl and really don't need much besides diapers and wipes. Of course some people got outfits and bath items, etc, but imagine how much stuff we would've gotten if we had had a regular baby shower! We certainly got a good start for diapers and wipes and should be all set for a while! Now let's hope this baby doesn't surprise us and end up being a boy ;)
Has anyone else had their shower yet?

That's great Catlin! I'm happy to hear you are set on diapers. I am potty training our youngest and I am excited about all the money we will save :) Tammy

I LOVE the diaper shower idea! Diapers are one of the biggest expenses and it's so nice to have that head start :)

hi ladies :) my friends and husband surprised me yesterday with a baby shower. I thought we were going to meet a friend of mine for coffee and then - surprise- everyone was there. It was really sweet, almost made me cry. I hadn't planned on having a baby shower so this wasna big surprise! We had a lot of fun and strange as it seems now I feel really ready for the little one to arrive ;)

Diaper shower - such a wonderful idea. Diapers is a big expense really. Yes and to get what you really need is great. Wish you all the happniness in life and good luck.

| Diaper party is such a wonderful idea. We need a lot of those in the baby’s initial years and they turn out to be a real big expense. Do keep us posted about your baby. All the best to you. |
