Christina- well at least you were able to get it off of your chest. Hopefully your Dad takesit to heart. Glad you had a nice weekend. I bet your pictures are beautiful as always. Our weekend was good. We spent it painting. We never finished all the kitchen cabinets (yes from last year) but I told dh that I wanted to do thanksgiving here again, so now we are in high gear. Yesterday we won't to the Denver Mueseum of Nature and Science. We got to see the Pompeiiexhibit. It was really cool. They have the plaster cast of the bodies and all the artifacts and frescos and mosaics and stuff. Totally amazing and humbling. Dh got to go with us and I was glad. The kids just finished studying Ancient Rome, and we covered Pompeii, and learned about volcanology and super volcanoes and stuff so the trip to the Mueseum kind of wrapped that up. Best comment of the day, Bachus the roman god of wine and hospitality I guess, lol. Was a statue placed in many Roman Atriums to welcome guests and all of his statues are of him in the nude holding a jug of wine and such and Zoey said That does. It look very welcoming. I think she was referring to the nudity, but it was funny. There were a few of the frescoes that were a bit explicit. I didn't get saddled with too many uncomfortable questions though lol. Today just school and a run to the grocery store.

Christina- well all 3 kids are always in the room. So even though Blayse is required to learn about the American and French Revolution, branches of Government and the Constitution, everyone LOVED learning about ancient Rome. They generally listen to all the literature stories together too. Zoey just finished Polyanna and Blayse is reading Robinson Crusoe, but we take turns reading the story out loud so everyone listens. Yesterday was BUSY. we did school, then I had to fight with insurance AGAIN. Every time I need to refill a prescription for Blayse I have to make a series of phone calls now. My insurance has become a real nightmare. Now they don't want to pay for his injections. They are $2000 a month. The financing department is supposed to call me, but I cannot imagine FINANCING medication. Anyway after all of that I was making sandwiches for lunch then dropped a jar of FULL peanut butter on my toe. OMG I haven't been in that much pain in a while. It hurts PRETTY bad, lol. But last night it was SO swollen. At least this morning after being off my feet the swelling is down. I don't think it is broken, but I wasn't so sure yesterday. Anyway after that I gimped around and went and got groceries then came home and helped my elderly aunts move some TV's out of their house. They wanted Justin to do it, but he wasn't home. Then I came home and made dinner. I HATE THE TIME CHANGE. I would rather have it stay light later than get light earlier. I always feel like it is SO LATE now. Anyway we watched some election results then went to bed :p. nothing out of the usual really it just seems like it was a long day. Oh on a cool note Dagon finished his Kindergarten math book yesterday, so I am going to find him a first grade one this week. He is a clever little dude. He does a lot of math on his own, because I get busy with the other kids, and if I read him the directions and maybe give him a little instruction he can do it by himself, so it keeps him busy, the result is usually several math pages a day, lol.

Hey ladies! Christina- glad you were able to tell your Dad your feelings... we'll see what he does with it, but at least you were able to let it out... that's good. And the pictures sound fun, I loved the family ones from when ALiya turned 1! Is your ashtma better now? I hope so! Janette- what a cool field trip! That Pompeii exhibit (or a similar one) was in Chicago a few years back so we went down to see it... SO cool... I find Pompeii so fascinating, so it was awesome to see all that stuff in person... glad you guys got to enjoy it! So sorry to hear about the insurance company and Blayze's meds too... can you contact the company directly and see if you can get any deals/discounts? From work I know a lot of drug companies will work with patients who can't afford the meds and donate a portion of it (like for diabetes patients, they'll donate the insulin and you have to cover the supplies)... worth a shot though... We're doing well... our weekend was good, pretty low key which was nice... Quinn didn't get the "you get an extra hour of sleep" memo, so was up at 6 something on Sunday morning... so we let her crawl into bed with us and watch TV until I was ready to drag myself out of bed... It's been cold and rainy here all week, and gloomy, so all I want to do is nap... particularly today... stayed up WAY too late watching the election results... I am DRAGGING today... :)

Insurance is a nightmare. Its so bad it has gotten worse every year. The new stuff came out where I work now and of course its bad, so I am not really lossing anything going to a new company! I cant believe how much more I pay for premiums and how much less I get compared to 4 years ago! Kristin- I was thinking way late... Then it dawned on me your in a differnt time zone, LOL. They called the pres election at like 915 my time :) And YAY its facebook official!!! Cant wait to here what you are having!

Kristin- glad you are well. How many weeks are you now? Lol on the extra hour of sleep memo. We are actually still running at the old time here I have just been putting the kids to bed earlier, it's dark and cold so itisn't like they miss anything. It is so hard to motivate when it is cold and rainy :p. Christina-OWIE, LOL. I wish I could've chilled but I am really behind since I wasn't here Monday. I am barley hanging on as it is,lol. Sorry about the insurance. I know dhs company just switched to catastrophic coverage only so we have like a $4000 deductible and no other coverage. It's terrible. Well yesterday was good. Just school then some cleaning. I gave my chicken coop a total cleaning, pulled out all the bedding and put in new. It was a big jOB and I am so congested this morning because of it. It won't need done like that again until spring. It is supposed to get really cold here for the next few days, so I am ting to get outside stuff done. I think after school maybe the kids and I will go ride bikes or something while it is still nice. Have a lovely day ladies.

Janette- I'm 13 weeks today... finally starting to get past the nausea/queasiness, thankfully! Although there's still definitely certain foods that leave me wishing I had NOT eaten them... sigh... Enjoy some outside time before the cold kicks in! Christina- I think we should find out right around Christmas? If I'm doing my math right that should be the 18-20 week zone... :) Just not sure when I could get in for an appt. to find out. Are you looking forward to the new company? WIll it be different work, or more or less the same stuff? I'm still tired... trying to catch up from Tuesday night... I went to bed early last night, but then Q woke up at 5:45 and came into our room... I told her it was too early and she had to go back to bed, which resulted in tears, so she got to crawl into bed with us... thankfully she fell back asleep within minutes... but it's never as restful sharing your pillow... :) Hope you guys all have a good day!

Janette- Well its sounds good for me to tell you to rest, HAHAHAHAHAHA! good luck with all the outside stuff :) I think we are going to re-do Natalia's room this weekend cause its really needs it since it will be so cold and snowy! Kristin- I am looking forward to the new company same work I do now but i am talking on some new stuff as well. Plus we have already been to a company paid bar outing and then we are invited to their xmas party! So its nice. I still wont be terribly busy but its a smaller comany so I am hoping as they grow I can get over and do something at HQ right now everyone kind of wears multiple hats! But I know our boss he used to work out here with us (just a different contract/company). So that will be nice to have managment who know what we do, understands it, and is willing to reward for it!

Oh yeah I need to re do drawers too. My kids still have shorts and t-shirts in their dressers. Kristin- what a cool Christmas present. If you decide to tell everyone you could wrap a bunch of tiny "it's a boy" or "it's a girl" presents. D you have a preference? I know we all say we just want a healthy baby, BUT I haven't ever met a mom that didn't at least have SOME preference. Christina- I hope that the new company works out well for you!
