Hi, there. I'm almost to my 11th week of pregnancy. This is my first one, and I am pretty paranoid about every little thing. This week, I ended up with a huge respiratory infection, and was prescribed Amoxicillin, 500mg 3 times a day. I was even afraid to take that. I'm into my third day taking it, and am experiencing some pains in my lower abdomen, and vomiting. Is that normal?
Anyway, I hope to keep talking with you all throughout our milestones. How many is this for you?

Hi Robin! Welcome! I hope you are feeling better. Have you ever had Amoxil before? If not, I would let your dr. know right away about your symptoms. How are you feeling now?

I'm getting much better. I have had Amox. before, but not since I was a little girl. I talked to a nurse at the OB office, who assured it would be ok. I'm just paranoid about everything I put into my system. I still have a cough, and read that I shouldn't take cough drops, so I'm still fighting it!
