Inexpensive Television Control Blocker: To block the buttons at the bottom of our television I bought a large bent acrylic photo frame and placed the larger part of it (the place you would insert a photo) under the television and positioned it so the shorter part is in front of the buttons. The weight of the t.v. holds the frame in place. The clear acrylic allows your remote to still connect with the television's remote reader.

That's a good inexpensive solution.I am going out today with my 18 month old son to go and buy some of those frames.The last time he messsed with the television,I thought he ruined it,it took 2 days and 3 people later to figure it out..thanks for the tip.
