My LO likes to rock himself in the recliner, and also on the floor while he sits watching his big bro's Leap Frog dvd's.  He likes the music and puts on a baby jam fest, complete with his own version of singing.  It's scream-o!  He loves to hear himself.  Too funny!

my daughter decided this weekend she is not going to be stationary anymore. Her solution: crawl like a stink bug. She sticks her little bum straight up in the air and burries her face in the ground and pushes herself around. She's 4.5 months. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen.

this is not about my dd, but I thought it was cute. I have a cousin who has a little girl who has just learned to crawl, she gets up on her hands and knees and moves forward but she forgets to pick her head up, so she drags her forehead all across the floor. I also have a niece (20 months old) and everytime my daughter cries (5 months old) she says " Aunt Lindsey can you please turn her off". The way she says it is adorable!

My little baby girl growls!  She's only 6 months.  It's so funny!  Then, I growl back at her and she growls at me again.  It's a game for her and I!

I'm so glad to hear that your baby girl growls too. I thought it was kind of normal since mine  has been doing it for about 6 months now (she is 13 months and started at about 7 months or so). It wasn't until everyone started commenting that they hadn't heard girls doing it that I realized it was weird. Her newest thing is flipping over her little walker she has (it goes from a car to a walker) and then clapping when she flips it

It was time for a  mid-nursing burp.  My dughater asked my granddaughter, "Are you ready to stop nursing and burp?  Then we can get some more mommy milk."  Two-month old Ellia broke suction just enough to allow a burp on her own, then relatched, and continued her meal!!!  Talk about not wanting to leave the table!

My daughter was nursing 2 mo. old Ellia.  "Are you ready to stop and burp?  Then we'll get some more mommy milk."   She reached to break the suction, when Ellia beat her to it.  She burped while still latched on ,and then finished her meal.  Talk about not wanting to leave the table!

So my LO is just darling anyway (I'm so partial!!!) but she just turned 2 months old and she's started smiling (hasn't quite learned laughing yet but she's getting there!) and whenever I start doing my "I'm gonna get ya!" and gobbling at her neck she just opens her mouth really big in a smile form and kicks her arms and legs all around..it's truly cute and I just love it!  Happy Mommy -ing!!!
