What toys are the most beloved at your house? And why are they your (or your child's) faves?

Well my daugther is 15 months old and her favorites are:

Anything red (it's her favorite color).

We have a set beanbag/plush bowling pins and a ball that are farm themed.  Her favorites are the cow and the barn.  I have no idea why she is drawn to them but she'll carry them around everywhere.

Now that she is walking, she is taking a liking to a doll stroller that her great grandmother bought for her.  She likes to walk around the room with Lambchop in the stroller.

She is fascinated by bracelets, of all shapes and sizes.

She loves books, but she is very hard on them, so I do limt her access to her book collection.

She loves music, and she'll dance to any toy that has a good beat to it.

Well, for my 3 yo, anything Thomas the train is IN right now.  He's totally into him, and Diego atm.  My 8 mo, well, he likes his inflatable penguin with balls inside that plays music, and his little toy with a monkey on top that keeps it's balance as it rolls while laughing and playing music.  He also loves his brothers train whistle, he chews on it and makes the teeniest toots when he blows just right, it's hilarious!

Play food/tea party set, MegaBlocks, Doodle Pro and balls.  With the exception of the Doodle Pro, the others encourage the girls to play together and that's when they have the most fun.  Often times, they take turns drawing pictures for each other on the Doodle Pro.

Im not a mother just yet (three more weeks to go) but I have three neices! They are monkies! the eldest (6 yrs) loves anything to do with horses! The middle girl (4yrs) is a anything neat and makes noise is for her! exspecialy if big sister is playing with it. and the youngest (almost 2) has a thing for rocks. yes you heard me right, rocks. she has a bucket full of smooth rocks that they got on vacation. (the idea was to make a stepping stone for the garden with them) but now they are her play things, she likes to send them shooting across the kitchen floor as if they were matchbox cars. SHe has her dolls and tea sets but she lieks the rocks best. Go figgure, kids will literally play with anything!

I also have four children (3 boys and 1 girl).  My oldest is 12 and my youngest is 6 months.  We also keep around a lot of musical toys, esp. keyboards and homemade shakers.  The two middle children (ages 5 and 2) play a lot with electronic alphabet toys.  My 2 yr. old is really into shapes and likes me to draw them on a doodle board.  He already knows circle, square, triangle, heart, and star.  We are working on diamonds!  My 6 month old loves her "Raggit," a stuffed bunny with paws made to chew on.  She also loves her crinkle book, which has corners made for chewing.  Right now, my 12 yr. old DS is mainly into sports, so he has 5 of every type of ball for each sport he is involved in.

My kids' favorite toy is a mini trampoline (it is in their playroom).  I got it for my first child when she was 2- I now have 3 children.  It is a triangle shape with handles and when they jump on it, (it has different settings) it plays music, counts, or even has an interactive game where it will say a number and that is how many bounces you are supposed to jump.  They LOVE it!  Not a day goes past that they do not jump on it.  It burns off some of their energy and they giggle and laugh when jumping on it.  THIS IS A TOY EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE!!!

All 4 of my kids loved Fisher Price Little People toys. The boys loved the bus, airplane and farm and my daughter loves the castle and house, but she plays with it all. She is five and a half and they are still her favorites.
