Indoor Olympics, board-game marathons, baking parties, scrapbooking...what do you do to keep the family from going bonkers during those trapped-indoors winter days?

My girls are only 16 months old so we rotate toys, they have so many they forget the ones we put away so its like getting new toys every week..lol...without the cost. I also move their play area around so its diffrent. As for us, I like puzzles, on line games (when the girls are napping) scrapbooking and keeping an on-line photo journal for family to see what the girls are up too. My husband has a Wii and PS and plays on-line games.

Boardgames are great fun for snow days, we also love reading out loud with lots of fun voices and interjections.

I have a playlist on my computer of children's dance songs. When the weather is nasty and the kids are going nuts I turn up the tunes we all and dance to the Hokey-Pokey, the Chicken Dance, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes and lots of others until we are all giggling and worn out. The kids love seeing mom acting silly and it's a great way to exercise that doesn't involve jumping off the couch.
