Where did you meet your main-squeeze? How did you meet? We'd love to hear your stories! I met mine while working at a fast-food restaurant. He was working there during his college break and I was working there while in high school. Funny thing is - 4 other couples met there and got married within a 2 year time frame! The restaurant is now closed - probably because no one was working and everyone was flirting!

I met my husband 8 years ago at a cousins house. I was playing pool; he was sitting in a chair staring at me. We started talking. He asked me to dance, after finally saying yes to him we began to talk. It was pretty rocky at first. We dated on and off for a while. On Oct. 2010 we found out I was pregnant. On Xmas 2010 he proposed (Finally!!) lol. March 6th 2011 will be our 1st wedding anniversary. We have a beautiful baby boy (Alessandro).

A funny thing about meeting my husband ... I had already heard about him through my step-sister. She used to talk all the time about this guy who she thought would be perfect for me, but I never paid attention to her (mostly because I didn't like her taste in men, so I wasn't going to let her pick out mine!). Then when I finally brought him home she goes "That's the guy I've been telling you about!" hahaha - so I guess she was right!

Kind of a long story... I lived in Oregon, and there was a guy (Benny) that started working at the veterinary clinic I was at. I became really good friends with him, and eventually moved out of my parent's house and in with him and his partner, Marcus. He finally convinced me to move down to Phoenix, AZ (his hometown), and because I was young and restless, I did. He introduced me to his best friend, and we happened to hit it off. We've been together for almost 2 and a half years, and got married this past September before bringin our daughter into the world (although not because of my pregnancy). I coulsn't be happier!

My hubby and I were friends before we even thought about dating. We were friends through mutual friends. Finally at a get together one day, we started flirting and realized we had more than "friend" feelings for each other! That was 14 years ago! :)

Cute story! I met my husband at my sister's house. They had dated back in high school and had remained friends. Years later he was visiting my sister and I stopped by to tell my sister that I would talk to her when I got back from buying my house in another state. On my drive out of town my sister called me and talked me into going on a date with him when I got back into town to get the rest of my stuff. I went on the date, decided not to buy the house so I could see where the relationship would go, invested in love instead and we were married 6 months later. The funny thing is my sister would always tell me "I dated this guy once that I think would be perfect for you" She was talking about the man I have been married to for 10 years :)

Well, here it is. January 2007 I was driving my car and got it stuck in the mud/slush/snow. I called my friend Josh who had a truck to come and get it out for me, he just happened to be at his friend Bob's house which was right by the place I got stuck, Bob, his nephew CHRIS and Josh all came out and Chris was the one who pulled me out of the mud. Well, a few months later in March I was living in a house with a few friends one being Josh, well we had a spare room so Josh asked Chris if he wanted to move in with us. Long story short Chris moved in April, we got engaged in September, married in January 2008 and now have 2 beautiful children!

LOL My hubby and I were friends for about a year before we started dating. We intially met through my best friend at a bar ( I know...). After about 2 months of dating we got engaged and a year a half later were married. 10/5/11 will be our 9th anniversary.

We met on an online dating site! I still can't believe it. I was a single mom, he was a single dad, we each had 2 kids. I just wanted to date and have a few nice dinners away from the kids occasionally. I had been seeing a few men casually and then met the love of my life. I wasn't looking for anything serious, but we both fell in love at first sight and have rarely been apart since the day we met. He moved in with me and my kids after 10 months and proposed a week later. A couple weeks after that I realized I was pregnant, so we decided to wait until things settled down before trying to plan a wedding. Our DD is almost 7mos and things definately have not settled down, but we're planning a June wedding:)

Love hearing all these stories right before V-Day! Congrats and best wishes Rachael on your upcoming wedding! And @ Megs, you have accomplished so much in your short life. You've gotta be proud! DH and I met in college. We became best friends. He had a girlfriend back home at the time, and I had a boyfriend, but we were still inseparable. Our friends always had suspicions that we were dating and not telling them. We weren't, but during his senior year, he realized that he didn't want to move back home without me. (How sweet, I know.) We moved in together and continued our relationship. Got married 2 years after moving in together, and got pregnant 4 months after being married. He's still my best friend, and we're still going strong after 9 years of marriage. We just had our second baby in Aug.
