Spring Sports Too Much?

At what age would you (did you) let your child play sports? Do you think most kids' sports are too intense?

Kids should be watching TV sports when they are old enough to understand what's going on. Baseball games can be viewed as early as five years. Basketball around seven. Ditto for hockey. Football should wait until they are eight. Anything else is based upon the gender of the kid. For girls, stuff like figure skating or ballroom dancing can be watched as young as seven. professional wresling can be a boy's show from eight up. Games such as golf should start at age ten. Ditto for chess, although ESPN dosen't show many chess games, unless they are on the air at 3:00 AM!!
