I have friends who grill squirrel. I think that's just WRONG! My Dad used to grill venison. ALso not that appetizing to me. I put a tomato on the grill and I think I'm adventurous!

Hilarious! The craziest thing we've grilled was pizza. I can't wait to read ideas from others, though (minus the squirrel) - we love grilling :)

During the summer, just about everything we eat is from the grill. Healthy, I know (insert sarcasm here). We've grilled everything from ham to brisket to chicken breasts, and of course hamburgers and hot dogs. I think the secret to a lot of these is wrapping them in aluminum foil before cooking or making sure your flame is a little higher to sear the outside. This keeps the juices in. The two weirdest things, in my opinion, that my hubby has put on the grill are onions and bologna. The onions came back with a funny taste. The bologna was hilarious! He put it in foil to try and keep it moist. He left it out there about 30 minutes. When he went to open the foil, it collapsed! He had taken a sandwich-sized piece of meat and shrunk it to less than an inch across! LOL

Black bean burgers that fell through the grill and landed on the burners. Not such a great smell!

Squirrel is a bit too adventurous for me too! We're getting into grilling fruits, definitely not the strangest (we've bbqed squid too), but grilled pineapple it so yummy! And black bean burgers are tough to grill--I always saute them inside.
