My CNM doubts I'll make it to my due date. DD1 never engaged early and I never had any prelabor with her, but at my appt the other day baby had dropped so much she couldn't even feel her head! Then last night when I did my hypnobabies practice she dropped even further. DD1 walks faster than I wobble now, LOL and I have to yell at everyone to slow down. I've been having prelabor all morning long, but now it's slowed down and I'm not having as many contractions now. They definitely aren't braxton hicks now though, they are much lower down and I can feel them in my legs and hips, same as I did when I was induced with DD1 before I was in active labor. I'm really hoping that my body doesn't keep teasing me too much :)

How exciting! I'm wondering if you went into labor between now and when you wrote the post about 20 hours ago. You sound great, calm and ready! Please keep us posted :) Tammy

Just on and off contractions still, nothing regular yet :( DH is being a turd and won't have sex or go do anything that involves lots of walking because he is terrified of the baby coming early LOL I have to listen through my hypnobabies birthing script this coming up weekend. It has a warning on it that says not to listen to it before 38 weeks because some ladies spontaneously go into labor while listening to it, so I can hope :)

I definitely am!! I have gone into labor twice now, once at 34+ weeks and again last sunday at almost 37 weeks. The hospital stopped it of course at 34 weeks, and baby changed his mind on his own last weekend and I was sent home. Dr has told me to be prepared for a large baby, 9-10lbs....I am being induced next week if he doesn't come on his own before then. Baby is measuring at 40 weeks gestation already via ultrasound and 41ish weeks via belly measurement. I am trying sex, nipple stimulation, everything to get him out!! I'm so uncomfortable, I just feel saddle sore all the time and I have contractions most of the day off an on. Final thing to do was install the car seat bases this weekend in our cars and we got it done. Now we are just patiently waiting for him to show up.. Good luck to you Cassie!!! I hope it happens soon, these last few weeks are brutal!!

Hi Kianna, Thats crazy! A big baby, measuring 40 and they couldn't just give you a nudge? Hopefully baby will decide to make his way into the world on his own. Keep us posted! I love hearing the birth storie:) Tammy

Just came from my 38 week check and dr agreed to induce me on Oct 31st!! We aren't starting the induction until 10pm, so he will still be a November baby, just born on November 1st instead of the 6th. I'm so excited!!!

My last one was 9 lbs on the dot. Midwife said this little girl is gonna be "good size" ...We are ready to meet her. I hear you on the saddle sore part. I have had it the last 2 weeks and the right side pain with the two of those I can hardly walk. I have 3 weeks to go but I would love for her to come early but none of mine have ever been early..ever..if anything they have all been late.

I had a lot of starting to get more regular contractions on Tuesday night, so I rushed home with DD from my mom's house, had a drunk follow me home and get stuck on my lawn, verbally assault me (I locked all the car doors and called 911) he abandoned his truck in the middle of this huge sticker bush in our yard, the cops picked him up wandering around our neighborhood, and I had to get his truck impounded and all the stress from that pretty much stopped things. At my checkup today though I found out I'm already at 3cm but baby is posterior now (turned around yesterday :( ) so I've been sitting in chairs backwards and crawling all around the house.

sorry to hear that hope the baby turns back around for you. If not the doctor should try to turn the baby when you go into active labor. Was wondering though why you are sitting backwards in the chair and crawling around. Is it supposed to help the baby to turn?
