First off I'd like to say congrats on expecting twins! Secondly, I'm sorry the father left you! That has to be so hard on you. I hope he at least will be there for the girls! Can I ask how old he is?

I should add I have 6 year old twins. They were di/di twins and I had them by induction at 36 weeks 3 days. Peyton was 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches and Eli was 6 pounds 10 ounces and 19.75 inches. We did zygosity testing through Proactive Genetics and it came back that they were identical even though they did not share a sac or placenta.

34 is too old to be running for the hills and not stand up and be a man. I am sorry he is being such a dead beat! I have a friend whose baby's father left because he didn't think it was his because she was carrying a boy and is other 2 children by 2 other women were girls. DNA proved he was the father and has been ordered to pay child support, but still has nothing to do with his son.

I find it totally insane to not want to be around your flesh and blood if you have the chance to be. I think about all the things my second son's sperm donor has missed and only feel sorry for my son as he will never know his biological father. My dh has taken care of him and has been there through all his heart surgeries and his illnesses; his milestones, though late, and even watching him grow. (Adding my dh is all my other boys biological father, even the oldest one. I made a mistake and he has been there despite it)

I hope you will find a man that will be a father to your girls even if their biological one doesn't!
