I was sick all 9 months. The only way I could eat was to take a unisom tab and my prenatals before bed each night.

yay that's what everyone told me, but when I kept feeling sick I started taking unisom sleep tabs and they helped cut down my sick episodes to about once every other day during my first trimester and then none at all after that, but only if I took the sleep tabs. I tried not taking them each time I ran out and ended up sick the days after I wouldn't take one. : ( My dr said it was totally normal to be sick the whole time though

YAY nasea ;) just kidding. Yeah I was sick most of my last two pregnancies, but hopefully around 11 weeks you should start feeling a bit better. Try to keep something in your stomach at all times, don't go too long between meals. If you want to drink ginger ale to help with your nausea be sure it's canada dry (it has REAL ginger in it- just flavoring won't help). You can also try not using toothpaste (just brush a little longer, and more carefully) and be sure to take your prenatal vitamins (store brand are fine) but you can try to take them at a different time of the day- taking mine at night works best for me. You can also go to your local CVS or Rite Aid and pick up some B6 vitamins or ginger capsules, and they can help too, and you can pick up TUMS (wich are ok during pregnancy, and you'll need them for heartburn later) and some Sea Bands (little cloth bracelets that put pressure on your wrist, an accupressure point that can help ease nausea) . Best bet is to eat as often as you can, drink a lot of water, and try to get 'healthy' meals whenever you can (once a week? hahaha) Good luck!

Interesting fact: Only 50% of pregnant women get morning sickness. I had one pregnancy with no morning sickness. They other two made up for it though. It should eae up enough for you to eat soon. The cool thing is that the baby gets whay it needs first, you get the left overs:) Tammy

I miscarried my last one at 8.5 weeks I had no signs really then. This time around I brush my teeth and it doesn't matter what time of day and I gag and get the heeves. I haven't thrown up yet. I too notice that a lot of the foods I love will make me feel sick and sometimes I run to the bathroom hoping I won't throw up. I'm only 5 weeks pregnant! The prenatal............. it doesn't want to stay down I manage to get it down but I always get the heeves after taking that too.

I was really nauseous through my first 11 weeks and then started vomiting daily around 12 weeks. I am 15 weeks now and am ready for the "honeymoon phase" of pregnancy (aka- feeling good through the 2nd trimester ) that I keep hearing about to start. Brushing my teeth and couging has been hard for me too, but thankfully I just get the dry heaves. I hope you start feeling better soon..
