So, I know it's probably a bit early to be thinking about halloween costumes, but I was at a consignment sale yesterday and bought Colts! He's going to be a lobster. I got it for $4.50 so I was excited. I know costumes can be so expensive for them to wear one time. Just doesn't seem worth paying a ton for one. This is the one we got... javascript:void(0);/*1311953384719*/

That is adorable! I don't blame you for buying it either. Have you thought about what Mason is going to be? I also bought the baby a Halloween costume and my DH was seriously annoyed with me. The costume is a little pea pod...basically just a big fleece sack! It's super simple and only cost me $2 at a yard sale. I'm not sure why my DH was so annoyed but I really didn't care. :o) I also already bought Miles' Halloween costume at a yard sale...he's going to be a lion. It's super cute! Now I just have to convince him to put it on. I'm sure we'll only go to a few houses in our neighborhood but since we didn't spend much money I don't have to feel guilty if we're only gone 15 minutes! ~Julie

Julie-I bought Mason a costume too, and it "fits" now, but it's snug, so I know in 3 months it's going to be too small...and it's ADORABLE!!!! Makes me sad! It's a turtle costume. You can see how it's already pulling at the hood! :*( We don't go around to peoples houses, but our church usually does something and the kids dress up there, so we go to that.

I wanted that pea pod costume for Ian when he was teeny! It's soo stinking adorable! The lobster is precious, he's going to be adorable in it. I'm torn over whether to get Tristin a costume or just a halloween themed outfit. Ian has ADHD and we don't let him have candy that often, so it's kind of a lost holiday for us. We do enjoy dressing up though and having fun with our costumes.

That is funny that you started this because we are having our county fair this month and my husband saw that one of the big prizes were minions, from the movie Despicable Me, and he wanted to see if they had halloween costumes for babies because he wanted to dress her up as one. I just thought it was cute that he was thinking about halloween costumes for our baby girl :)

Ianzmomma, you know the best part about Halloween? eating the candy yourselves!!!! LOL i dont usually let children have candy either, holidays and b-day parties are normally it, but i do make a habit of keeping most of it for work, and letting the kids have SOME, adhd or not, they dont need it anyway! Adults do to keep the energy up to chase after the kids! HA!
