I haven't blogged or been on here in at least two years. Here's my recent, single mom update.
My name is Ashley and I am a single mom of a 4-year-old boy named Riley. I LOVE him to pieces and he is the light and inspiration of my life. I recently graduated in the end of August 2012 with my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and I work at a nursing home on a memory care unit. Through school I was also working fulltime and raising my son. This year, I have the most gifts I've ever seen under my tree. I hope my drive can help other moms KNOW that they can get there, too. :) Happy holidays everyone.

Hi Ashley, I LOVE stories like yours! Congratulations on your recent graduation! My name is Tammy. I am married with three children. Just had our 12 anniversary. I work from home and LOVE it! It's like the best of both worlds. I would love to hear more about what it was like going to school and taking care of your son on your own. I've been a single mom for 20 months now.. So almost two years anyways. .. Its a possibly harder road,, but I love it none the less. I love making the decisions. Last christmas was great!! And this one is good too. Just now getting to the better parts of mine and my daughters life, just now exhusband wants to be around now.. Later story... But yes everyone has good holidays with their families!! Life is too short to worry!
