Hey, Im new to the community, I have two sons, my oldest is almost 22 months and my yongest is 2 months. my problem is that my oldest wont stay in bed when we try to give him a nap or put him to bed for the night. Up untill he was 18 months he slept in his own room and in a crib, he would go to bed with a little complaint but would go to sleep on his own. Then we moved in with my Mother in-law and had to share a room with him for 3 1/2 months and now he wont go to sleep unless we are there. we moved itno a new house on the 20th and he refused to go into his crib so we let him sleep in a big boy bed we had gotten him and for the first 3 days he went down without complaint but now he is doing what he used to do in the crib, he climbs out of bed over and over and we end up having to stay in the room with him so we can keep making him lay down. It took us 2 house to get him to take a nap today. PLEASE someone give me some good advise. I have a two month old and cant be sitting in the room for two hours trying to get him to sleep. I started out trying the thing they do on supper nanny, you know just walking him back to bed, but its just a big game to him. Im so tired and I love my son. he needs to learn to go to sleep on his own so please help me!!!
thanks

Hi there, I totally understand your frustration! I wanted to also direct you to our Ask Parents page on Toddler sleep issues. You might want to also ask your question there and see what advice you might get. Good luck and I hope you all have restful nights very soon!
